Not the same Charlotte today
Oh I loved USAir! My second grade field trip to the airport from Westerly Hills Elementary school at the time 1992. We got on a USAir 737-300 and toured on the plane. Got USAir souvenirs and just fell in love with USAir. Didn't like when they change it to USAirways in 1997 witch I didn't find out until the spring of 1999 when my dad took me back to the airport in Charlotte. We toured the airport terminal and as I was looking around I saw nothing but USAirways logos and I was turned off from USAir because I didn't like the new USAirways livery. The USAir red, white, and blue silver planes as you see in the video is what drew me to being USAir fan.

Your videos are unique in that how many of us get a front window view of an airliner in flight. Your video is way to short what you may think is boring is not to the avarage joe/jane. Audio would add to the excitment of the landing /takeoff. Just sayin. Thanks for the video.
The cage is too small and they are getting anxious, the cage should be about 30in long 18in wide and 18in high. Also the will need a nest 8in by 8in and deep enough to secure the safety of the chicks when they start to move around.
This footage is old but gold.
You should have kept the view to the front.
Loved working in CLT. 1990-1999 and 2001-2004.
Wow! Great views of NY!! I lived there during my teen years back in the 1970s, and this brings back a lot of memories for me. I have the utmost respect and admiration for jetliner pilots who are able to land at LGA. That's one of the toughest, trickiest airports to go into, leaving almost no room or margin for error. Since they built those new humungous blue and white buildings along the Number 7 train line, it's made entry into runway 31 even more challenging and difficult. Those buildings are uncomfortably in the way.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
Tall Tales about the island: best friend's dad owned the largest dump truck on the island during the time they were moving the Eastern mountain to off the end of the runway extending it. His driver was dropping a load off the end, lost control and jumped out just in time to see it sink into the end of the runway. Time, resources, etc dictated that they just keep going. So when you land there, you are landing on a dump truck. Tale #2: my family including 2 of my grandparents were scheduled on the American Airlines flight that crashed on the island in 1976 running into a Shell gas station at the end of the short runway. Mom had a dream, rescheduled us for a week earlier with all the work and changes made for dad's 3 stores to run. You can read more about it here: Would you like to read about real modern pirates based out of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands taking place in the end of the cocaine fueled 80s? www.amazon.com/dp/1653714360 or Kindle www.amazon.com/dp/B083C3DD19 (free with Ultimate).
What aircraft type?

hi everyone! my doves laid one egg today and it fell and broke. How long will it take for them to lay again?
Love st thomas I live there!
Loved it! Nice change of perspective from the usual (but still appreciated!) passenger seat. I'm always in awe of the vast cityscapes - and knowing that millions of people are down there, doing their thing. I'm a country girl who lives (most happily!) in a town of 514 -- wait, Mary Alice had her baby, now 515 -- people, so you can imagine how I love to see this!
Fun. Looked like there were a few puddles.
ge derated power
rare
Cage too small!! Separate them!
me gusto el vd grasias x su video. bienvenidos a mi pais Dios m los vendiga
I can ( almost ) see my house from here :D ( Alamar, zona 5 )
Nice flying: Perfect landing. The only thing that would have made the video more interesting would have been if you included the audio from Air Traffic Control.
Eh, you don't miss much. Just a few Long Islanders talking at 7,000 miles per hour.
Ridiculous, that cage is way tot small, even for one Diamond dove?!
I see these tankers flying over my house near Huntsville all time time. I've heard they're training the tanker pilots here.
That very well could've been me in one of those ferry boats! Love this approach!
Nicely flown. Not the easiest approach to have to do a low turn onto final and keep it all stable. Need to bring your A game to the table for that one.
Cool super hornets in abq
What's the story wih the Qantas jet comig in to land? It looks like a B737 and as far as I know Qantas don't fly to JFK themselves. Unless it's a stop-off for a Boeing delivery flight? Although the route seems odd for a delivery to Australia, surely Seattle to East Canada to Greenland/Iceland would make much more sense??
Ah, the Tasteebread turn. Old timers will get the reference.
No such thing as Tasteebread turn. Stop making things up!
nice !
Yes, I finished training back in May.
Did you make the switch from ERJ to CRJ?
Doh! You're right, I should have looked at the video closer. I've changed the title.
nice landing bro!!
@sniperkid389 in the day
so not funny, split them, they will kill each other
I find it easier to hand fly a visual approach instead of dialing in the heading, altitude, and vertical speed on the autopilot.
It is an Embraer 135.
