What if a school only allows for one, which one will get sent if you request 2 teacher recs
Do our counselors and teachers have to send recommendation letters separately to each college we are applying to? My teachers are kind of not familiar with technology and I have to upload their recommendation letters for them. How do I do that

Early Decision (and Early Decision 2) are binding. Early Action, Regular Decision and Rolling Decision are not binding.
@@aimeethomson5176 how do you do an early action on common app?
I loved the video, very cool information! I'd just like to know why you didn't put the responsible person's e-mail… is it mandatory? or you just didn't fill in to follow video?
Our school uses SCOIR, not Common App, to submit materials. Because of this, we do not want Common App to send that person an invitation to recommend (because they will not be using the Common App to do the recommendation).
How do I do it with someone who isn’t a teacher at my School?
You should follow the process that your high school uses.
Very helpful, thank you. Just curious if there are a few days that pass after applying early action or early decision and you decide you changed your mind and want to move an early action school over to regular decision, is this possible?
There generally wouldn't be a reason to switch from EA to RD (unless your other materials wouldn't be ready by the EA deadline). In any case, the student could contact the college by email/phone to request the change. There's no way to change it anywhere else once the student has applied. Most schools will be just fine with switching a student to a later deadline.
Just FYI: Intro to Experimentation at RU (01:160:171) is Chemistry lab which is usually offered at CCs.
Thanks! In my head, the 4 credits at Rutgers already had the lab counted in with it. Looks like at RVCC the lab is built into the 4 credit Gen Chem courses, and there isn't a separate course code for lab. That would explain why NJ STARS doesn't list it as a course to take for either Bio or Chem majors. For Orgo lab, I see a little note that there is no equivalent course at the community college, but no such note for Gen Chem - but no course in the course catalog at RV either.
@@aimeethomson5176 Yes, the 4cr chemistry at RU can be misleading. The 4cr chemistry 1 + 2 courses at RU (160:161 and 160:162) do not include the lab. It's 4cr instead of 3cr due to contact time and recitation. Typically if a student takes a 4cr chem at a CC, they will get credit for the class and lab (160:161 and 160:171). At RVCC, CHM103 (4cr) gives credit at RU-SAS for 160:161 + 160:171. For Orgo, you have to take the full sequence at CC to get credit at RU (including the lab). At RVCC, if you take CHM211+CHM212, you will get credit for 160:307 (orgo1), 160:308 (orgo2), 160:311 (lab). Ps. I work at RU in academic advising.
