Hey guys! I realized my editing mistake because I was supposed to show the movement but I forgot to. I had this mantle clock downstairs for years just collecting dust. So I cleaned it up and brought it to my collection. It’s a unique one because Seth Thomas the clock company stopped making them a few years ago. So this clock is a bit rare to find. I have electric Seth Thomas “Northbury” I think it’s missing the winding needle and needed to be oiled. Mine didn’t have glass either but motor needs oiled to run

So after the video, I took the movement out of the dome of the clock and realized something that I don’t think was my fault. Apparently, one of the parts in the movement that stops the clock from chiming every quarter hour repeatedly broke suddenly. I am trying to fix it and if you guys have any recommendations I would appreciate it. This clock has a very old movement. It has a WEDBURY-4W E (Electrical) Westminster chime and it was one of the last ones ever made until the company Seth Thomas stopped making the clock. This clock belonged to someone else that they had in a box in their basement because they did it really need it upstairs since they already had a replacement mantle clock. And the reason why they sold it was because that one of the owners DROPPED the clock and the glass broke. And when the clock his the floor the owner heard something crack in the movement. So this clock is very special to me and again, if you have ANY recommendations on spare parts I would appreciate it very much 🙂. Thank you!
