if you are playing one-handed, practice playing with both hands as it will help with accuracy. studying videos is a great way to decipher faster and harder patterns, and you can play along with reduced speed to familiarize yourself with the movements. i alternate hands on patterns with anything faster than 8th notes. it may be useful to re-calibrate the offsets mid session after warming up.

There are twelve pentagons. It's a dodecahedron.

This one has pentagons so it's a true sphere. However there is a cool illusion that looks like a hexagon tiled sphere, which sometimes is used for this type of game (secretly it's a torus)

it's a very abstract arcade score attack game about catching lines in a tangled web, lol. highly addicting, and although rather intense, oddly relaxing.

i'd say chapter 6 hard was the hardest. i played through the main chapters and lost levels, and completed chp 3 deathless between chp 4 hard and chp 5 hard deathless runs.

@@Cirpacha interesting, I found chapter 6 hard the easiest to get deathless, but the longest my first play of it. Chapter 5 (both normal and hard) deathless were the hardest for me of their respective categories. What I did however was chapters 1-6 deathless, then *played* the hard modes, then went for their deathless. So was a little more prepped than I should have been.

i play with a standard kb. when you start going for s ranks you may have to calibrate the offset mid session as it's common that as you get better/more attuned to playing in that session, your focus shifts from following the notes to using your ear for accuracy. if you are having problems with a particular pattern, practice it with a video recording as OSM unfortunately doesn't have a practice mode. i've uploaded most of the songs on my channel. other than that, i cannot really offer other advice than to practice, hehe. good luck.

Not a bot. From 1:48 the hold notes are seemingly jumping back because he holds it slightly longer than the note lasts (to not drop it and lose points), so he needs time to release then slam it again. Then at 2:23 he lets the green down notes a lot further back than he did this far (if he would be cheating they would be instantly pressed at the earliest point, consisntently), because he is a human with finite stamina.
