It’s been almost 1 year since I broke up with my ex. I thought I’ve moved on and I was happy for a long time. It took me a long time to realize how much I miss her. It sucks because I’m with another girl right now, but so far it’s been toxic and there’s been more bad than good. They always say "you don’t know what you have until you lose it." And damn that hits hard. It took me so long to realize how special my relationship was with my ex. It took me so long to realize she was the only girl to really understand me, cared for me, and loved me. I took her for granted and now I’m paying the consequences. I know she’s happier now and I’m happy to see her happy. I ask my self "would I take her back if I was given a 2nd chance?" I would 100% say yes. This time I will treat her 100000x better than I did and I will love and care for her harder than I did the first time. Guys in long term relationships, please reflect on yourselves, and appreciate your sweet girl if you have someone that’s truly honest, caring, and loves you to death. Take care of them and don’t take your relationship for granted. Milo if you ever see this, I love you from the bottom of my heart. I will always appreciate you and how patient you were with me. I have so much to say to you.
Don't remain with the girl you are with if you don't like how she treats you, go reach out to your ex, find a new girlfriend or focus on yourself for now
@ hey man thanks for replying. A lot has changed since this comment. 1. I broke up with my current partner. 2. I did a lot of reflecting and processing, and decided to focus on my self before I even reach out to my ex. Had lots of emotional impulse to reach out but I told my self not to. For now, I need to focus on my self and grow from all my mistakes and become a better version of my self. I don’t know what the future holds, whether with my ex, solitude & celibacy, or with a new girl.

@@Neeyaw hey man, thanks. You’re right things did change even the past few days. I realized that I held on to my past so much and worried about my future too much that I forgot to live in the present moment and appreciate what I have and who I have whether big or small. I’ve let go of all the negativity that I bottled up for years. It’s so healing and I feel like a different man now and I’m proud of my self for how far I’ve come. Everything gets better in the end.
