    Interesting, unfortunately the use of language hasn't aged well in parts.

    I don’t agree with rewards, adults are rewarded as they get jobs. Eventually children will learn about rewards. A paycheck reinforces the behavior to come back to work. This also doesn’t account for children who do not have any intrinsic motivation. I agree punishment is certainly not necessary though. Also most elementary schools don’t travel class to class in 50 min periods.

    Wow... and to think, I enrolled my baby into a Montessori school not knowing all of the benefits he can reap. I am enjoying leading all about the benefits of this education/learning style . Thank you.
