😂 drilling is for drilling, impact makes an impact😂 now you gotta keep buying accessories 😂and new impact😂😂😂😂 wrong equipment 😂😂😂
Shit i still ise my original ryobi impact everyday dirat impact made by ryobi
Thank goodness for stupid teaching dumb to next Leavell
Buy quality.....flex or hilti
None of those battery impacts like those lags
Never understood why we decided to use fractions instead of millimeters it makes no sense to over complicate things
I got a couple i still Run occasionally from 2012...
You let the smoke out
He just wanted you to know he overpaid for his hammer
Bam! Thousand tricks of the trade!
A drill works way better than an impact driver with specs and lag bolts. Like wayyyyy better
If that was a Milwaukee it would’ve been done
Rip to you partner
Typical DuhWalt
Yes sir❤
If it was always meant to be covered, why do this ? Does this not effective the strength?
Got hot on the first trip didn't it ❤
😅haha most definitely!
I used the impact for long structural screws till I found out that a drill/driver works way better and faster and is less stress on the drill
Paused the video, and then skipped it!
I’ve got a set from about that time too. Ive had the driver smoke a couple times but I’ve had the drill smoking more times than I can remember and it keeps on going!
Extra holes everywhere at construction sites because these guys want to prove their "Smart" enough to create a coat hanger when the floor will do for your stuff.
Probably use a driver instead of a hammer drill!
Why not use the hammer drill? Works a lot better
Impact drills are for short fasteners and metal need a drill for these long of fasteners makes it way easier too
But none the less still impressive
That farmall will still be running long after the deere john goes for scrap
Using a impact for that is wild just use a driller bro
@@elliottsawyer9377 that’s what the word is, I’ve used an impact for years. Figured it saved the potential wrist twister & always hammers em home. I will add this impact is still cruising to this day. But I won’t ignore that a lot of guys are shouting “drill” from the rooftops. I’ll give it a whirl next big GRK I get into 👌
You probably should've just kept that powerstack on it.
It’s 7 Ps. Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
Right on, I like that one too 👌
Also , DO THE JOB BIG OR SMALL , DO IT RIGHT OR NOT AT ALL !!!!!
More wise words indeed my friend!
Also PLAN YOUR WORK , WORK YOUR PLAN !!!!!
No doubt, wise words 😎🤘
It's the ( 7 P's ) , PRIOR PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS PISS POOR PERFORMANCE !!!!!
Seven's better than six id say 👌
I know this as the 7 p. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance pterodactyl.
Haha 🦅
Those are called floor joists.
Exactly what I came to say!! JOISTS.......THEY'RE CALLED JOISTS!!! Rafters make a roof not a floor! 😂😂😂
🤔well if it wasn't framed on a 3/12 pitch I'd say they or floor joists or if it wasnt a roof!🤪 But to your error it is a roof indeed😘
@@ronniemac8667rm NO SIR, NO SIR THEY ARE RAFTERS🤭😂 take a look at that rake wall on the end there & see that its framed on a pitch because its a ROOF
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. Did Peter properly plan prior ....
@@RobertWilliams-mk8pl haha 😂 I like that
Amen brother I just worked for a company for five years that had zero plans for anything they did it’s the most frustrating irritating defeating felling like I could rarely be efficient call for Clarification and get an attitude because they’re irritated that you called them like you’re supposed to have a crystal ball and know what you’re supposed to do with zero information
For real my friend, I’ve been there for sure and it is frustrating to say the least! A good plan and cool heads makes for success, cheers bro 😎 🤘 good luck out there!
Sounds like where I work, and they think they are the best. Lol.
@@yeamewoo haha don't we all 😉
Never start a project unless you have assembled all the materials you will need to finish it !!!!!! 😂😂😂.
Maybe I missed something, are you throwing me shade 🤷♂️
I feel like when I'm using my impact with 5Ah it gets super hot almost burns sometimes but with 9Ah flex volt just a bit warm. Am I crazy?
@@pascal6511 I know these batteries have chips in them that regulate function, or so I’ve been told. Maybe your 9Ah is newer and better moderated, lol you’re not crazy my friend I’ve ran into similar things as well 👌
they have battery managment boards. only real difference is the cells. the 9ah is going to have more ass behind it because you can think of it like pools. the voltage drop is alot less on the 9 vs the 5 because theres so much more water to draw from its not starved. idk if youre talking about the tool or the battery, but the 5ah would heat up because youre discharging it quicker. shouldnt ever be hot to the touch. if its the tool youre talking about then it shouldnt really matter. tool is doing the same amount of work regardless of battery.
@@life_of_a_carpenter Thanks for the explanation!
@@prestoisakilla813 I meant my impact. The metal part with XR logo really does get hot.
@ you’re welcome my friend!👌
mines on the way out 😂😂 every now then it wont run or barely run when i press the trigger i just smack it on the metal framing or sheetrock a fee times and she wakes back up real quick!! 😂
Haha I know the feeling my friend 😂
Milwaukee all day for me, but to each their own.
Honestly with the big tool names I don’t think you can go wrong either way, I agree my friend cheers 🤘
Should’ve bought milwaukee
Baha funny are ya 😜
Dude I don’t know but I’d check to see what model years are compatible with those bigger batteries
Flexvolt is compatible with XR tools just fine. Been runnin then for years and never had a problem. Fakes is where you have to be careful cause they will certainly destroy your tools.
Always good to check on compatibility, I agree👌
@@stephenbrown4014for sure on those after market batteries, always buy name brand! I’ve heard of after market batteries starting fires on the charger as well, dangerous stuff!!
I’m a Milwaukee fan, but every time I get ahold of a dewalt I definitely notice something different. Especially with my dewalt mechanics socket set, the socket seem to bite the bolts better and i never broke a dewalt.
Honestly the Milwaukee/Dewalt beef is more funny than anything. I like to throw shade for fun but obviously they are both great tools 👌 I haven’t used any of the Dewalt sockets but have wondered about performance, good to hear!
@ theyre amazing, i never broke a single socket yet, i broke plenty of ratchets though. But what i love about dewalt is the warranties, when i lost my sockets i got them warrantied for new ones and they threw in 4 extra ratchets all free of charge.
@@darrenbabb66 Hell yeah that's badass🤘
DeWalt a damn good drill
@@weldthis101 yes it is 😎🤘🔥
Trash can dewalt
@@MichaelConnelly-b5z Ah 😢
Shit ive had mine since 2015 and she still runs like a champ.
Same here, even after the smoke show 👌 a lot of hours on this puppy
I have that same one, from when I started hvac installation. It was handed down to me from the owner of the first company I worked for. It smells like burnt rubber every time I use it but it hasn’t died and it has more power than the brand new xr I bough
For sure 🤘These impacts are beasts, this thing is still driving em home to this day 🔥
I still have my impact from 2012, works just fine
Same here, little smoke in this day and still running 👌
Organic vapor cartridge with particulate filter. I am a builder and like to use the p100 particulate filter. Only use those in the video when painting with oil based or staining
Yeah I just snagged this off the shelf, thanks for the tip my friend! 🤓👌
We’ll shorten the bit you lost all your torque with that huge bit
Yeah I’ve heard that, I had this puppy in my pouch so I threw it on there. Thanks partner 👌
do anybody remember when the 887 came out what date
I don’t know the model numbers off hand, I’ll take a look at my impacts and see 👌
