Absolutely stunning not sure about the colour my one was a deep burgundy with red leather but what a beautiful transformation well done
well done
Whilst I would have loved this to go on a LOT longer, THANK YOU for not playing inane music. pity you didn't get the sidelight red tell tales around the correct way :) I also see you did not replace both the clutch and brake pedal return springs, (a mistake I almost made) new ones keep the pedals level with each other.
Brillant work . What does the 3.8 L stand for...
It just means it’s engine size 3.8 litre
What I would personally like to know is... what this cost... amoung everyone else who has watched this video.
huge amount of work and money.
Thanks for sharing, just asking what type of materials did used for upholstery, like seats and side doors please?
Stunning, but dry use only please; 100 yards on a wet road and it will never be the same!
How lovely are your workmanship. All thumbsup!
A gold (E type /Mk.X ) cylinder head with two carbs ???
Superbe restauration !!
Aren't the red indicators above the front parker lights on the fenders suppose to face back to the driver?
Respect! Gives me the willies just thinking about it.
Lovely work one question why the back sitting high up front down? Have you fitted an adjustable suspension on the car ?
New leaf springs usually take a few miles to settle in, however in this instance they didn't drop enough, so we adjusted the stack to lower the tension, but that was after the pictures were taken.
Haha it has an A plate for 74 it s M
You're absolutely right, good spot, 1974 was M and N plates, but this car had a personal plate applied to it some years ago.
Superb workmanship!
I liked everything other than the chromed engine, which looks hideous.
Looking good !
These old jags were like pieces of art work, beautiful to gaze upon, What a wonderful restoration job you guys have done,I would love to drive this object of desire throughout the English countryside, I would relish every single moment of it, Loved these cars since I was a young boy back in the 60's. Still do today.
I can see you had a very big job on your hands.... But you've transformed that to a beautiful car again.... Excellent job guys
Hola.se me tranco el difencial quiero sacar el grupo y no puedo sacar los ejes me podran dar una mano? desde ya muy agradecido .
I tried to translate your message, but unfortunately it didn't come out very well and I wasn't sure what you were asking; I'd be more than happy to help, but could you repost in English? Thanks Tony
@@hawkclassics5624 How did you strip the body from all the rust? im just getting ready to start my project
@@envisionautomotive502 We acid dipped the shell. It's an immersive process and so it gets into every nook and cranny, however, the car does come out looking like a tea bag and you find there was rust where you didn't know to look! Just something to be aware of, acid dipping removes not only paint, rust and filler, but cabling (if it's left in) and lead, which can be a pain for cars of this era as lead was used as filler at the factory. It's not an issue per se, just something to be aware of when you come to rebuild.
@@tonyh8823 Thank you so much for the reply Tony, I appreciate it
From a horrible custard colour to a Great job. You should be proud. Great thumbs up.
Thank you :)
