It’s a knock off version

I poured very cold water in the plastic box in the video and put some ice cubes in it as well to make the colour change work. Although it works better with cold flowing water poured on the car. The warm water doesn't need to be uncomfortably hot to achieve the colour change. If it is still not changing colour then 2 things are possible: - defective product which can happen rarely - or it is a non-colour changing version of the toy car. This manufacturer has this same car in colour change and non-colour change version as well. The packaging should say clearly which one it is.
