Magic Seals in Castlevania Dominus Collection
Just wanted to share a short video on how Magic Seals work in Dawn of Sorrow. Specifically when you are playing on the Dominus Collection.
It is a button combination! I'm not sure if the button combinations are listed anywhere in the game so you will have to remember them or copy them down. Or just practice!
Switch touch screen controls work, too!
You can also seemingly use the other joystick if you are fast and accurate.

I would've also been okay with using the right stick, but this works, too.
Ah yes, even if there's barely any places where this is usable, I always love doing it when entering the Catacombs (Level 5).
Objects in this game have no weight, I guess if they did you'd get caught up on too much scenery so they opted to screw the physics 😂
Question where does Aerith stow her wand, you don't see it on her back, is it under the skirt or does it just magically appear/ disappear?

Why are they so uneven?
Because the original game was made in the 90s
Re-using assets is quicker than modelling stairs for specific sections of the map, it just so happened that they didn't align perfectly with the level geometry. This was most likely done due to publisher time constraints.
@@user-og6hl6lv7p perhaps it was intentiona? aligning stairs is even that difficult, i can do that in blender in a matter of seconds

I honestly don't remember. Maybe I initiated a conversation with him, interacted with a control panel or approached the holding cell.
I would guess you have to do his data collection battles until he decides you’re worth further study. That scene is priceless.
During Chapter 4, when you're sent to guard him in the Fusion Chamber during the Genesis siege, there's some things you can interact with in the room, one of which is the holding cell which Hojo's facing. That initiates a cutscene and a small choice minigame, where Hojo asks two questions, and if you get them right you get some SP and a bronze trophy (on PlayStation)
