Perfume was a great read for me. I couldnt figure where the story was headed for a while, but it picks up like halfway through and has a pretty satisfactory ending.

I oved this book mainly due to this complexity of certain characters. Especially Levin, Dolly and Alexei Karenin. I also loved the character development of Kitty and how Tolstoy wrote about things that I could relate to as a woman. I had a lovely time reading it ❤

the vlog was really good, yodi ♡ when you mentioned liking tragic stories I felt that on another level. I think part of the reason why tragic stories are beautiful is because oftentimes they stay with you. as the reader, one feels the effects of the tragedy but does not at the same time because we are not the characters. the paradox just keeps me searching for more tragedy-themed books 😭💔 and as always, thank you for another video!

loved the video!! my favorite book on your list is crime and punishment. I listened to the audiobook last year and I always had to went back multiple times to listen to certain parts because I couldn't get over how good it is! Its quite dark though but sooo interesting so definetely wait for the right time to read it. I plan to pick up my physical copy later this year when the weather gets gloomier and I also plan to annotate it. Can you share how you usually annotate your classics? 💖

Book princess Yodi is back again! I know you don’t really read YA anymore but since you love pixie hallow and the tinkerbell franchise, have you seen the announcement of the book licensed by Disney about Queen Clarion and Lord Milori’s story? It could just be a fun easy read, I’m really excited eeeeee although I too have grown out of that genre, childhood me is screaming and it’s probably the only tinkerbell content we’ll get since Disney discontinued tinkerbell 🥲
