Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan

Videos for the Wigs 4 Kids program, a grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides wigs and support services to Michigan children experiencing hair loss as a result of illness and treatment. Our program is available to any child or teen between the ages of 3 through 18 at no cost to them or their families.
Welcome Bags for Wig Recipients
Each wig recipient in our Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan program receives a welcome bag fill of comfort items to help them feel better as they journey through their health challenge. This includes blankets, travel pillows with matching pillowcases, jewelry, hat, scarf & gloves, hand sanitizer & tissue, a game or coloring book with colored pencils, a gift card for healthy eating and much more. We thank the Lions Clubs of Michigan and our generous supporters for making our welcome bags a reality.

How does the wig stay attached to the head, it must have a tight grip or it'd fall off
Hi DSM Productions, thank you for your interest in Wigs 4 Kids. We provide several types of wigs based on the recipient's form of hair loss. In Jaeleen's case, she has Alopecia and wears what we call a vacuum wig. This adheres to the head almost like a swimmer's cap. We also have wigs that clip into hair that is left for a secure fit.
