I watched the One Piece anime over 17 yrs ago and I recently rekindled my passion for it by watching the live action manga adaptation (available on Netflix). I endeavor to rewatch the anime from episode 1 and one day catch up.
I know some older spoilers having existed on the Internet and not in a vacuum but they're all out of context and I am actively avoiding new ones. I look forward to filling in the gaps (attaching names to faces for starters, and figuring out why some characters looks so different in some pictures!). I figured since I am going to watch One Piece I can record it and upload and share my thoughts as I collect them. It will be a fun thing to do and I like fun things.

Hey, are you planning to react to the OP Movies eventually? You can now watch the first 7 of them, without spoiling yourself, just saying. (and forget about 8-th and 9-th ones, because they are basically re-animations of "Alabasta" and "Drum Island", with few weird alterations, like adding new villain for example).

@@kodielicious Thanks so much! And yes!!!!! I honestly can say I'm so glad I love the characters in this show coz they're all given a chance to do something rather than throwing them to the side. There were a few animes that lost me back in the day coz they went full-on ensemble and I didn't like half the new characters so when they had their time to shine I wanted to skip and got bored. I want to see more Usopp and Nami interactions they feel like siblings. Also thank you for the lipstick tip!! You rock!

It's so satisfying to see Luffy finally kick Bellamy's ass and those guys underestimated Luffy so much after Luffy's bounty increase. The OHKO at 16:20, yeah, it sure was peak! Yeah, that felt so good. xD Episode 151 is such a legendary episode with plenty of lore drop and epic introductions for One Piece's big shots - they're some of the bigger characters who will play bigger roles in the future episodes that you'll watch. 😁 Truly a lot of info to take in all at once so it's fine to pause and/or rewatch that episode especially the 2nd half. You get to meet a couple more Warlords in this series and those two, just like Mihawk, are very VERY strong! Doflamingo's drip, it's so dope. 😆 Whitebeard is HUGE! And it's true, he's the strongest man in the world. A really awesome pirate captain. 😀 And the Blackbeard Pirates' full introduction. Oh yeah. Truly caught you by surprise, huh? 😆 It's that guy whom Ace has been looking for. They're a very dangerous pirate crew. Great reaction! Keep up the good work!

The last 5 minutes only was cannon, so just Ace's goodbye is cannon. In the manga Ace doesn't come into the desert with us at all, he gives Luffy the scrap of paper while on the Merry just after getting away from Smoker. Then he says his goodbye and destroys the 5 Baroque Works ships right before leaving.

His voice was like butter and I fell in love. I know he comes later in the series and can't wait to meet him! The hoodie was a gift from my dad for Christmas

His voice is like butter I can't wait to meet him in the show!! I know he's much later. But my dad bought me the hoodie for Christmas. I have since learned he is apparently a Heart pirate and has a long name I don't remember lol
