Ghost Story - Short Film
My short film November Man is a supernatural thriller. A man with a dark secret faces the worst night of his life - tormented by a demon from his past! It is a psychological ghost story.

My short film Last Light is a supernatural movie about lost souls looking for redemption in a New Orleans church! As a Film School project. I was sick of arty-farty Channel 4 shorts, so I made this homage to the X-Files genre. I hope it is entertaining.
Terrible rubbish.
Was the actor playing Severin chosen for his ability to hold the accent longest? 😂 They all did wonderfully but it slips now and again. I love this except I can’t get over why he would’ve brought the box there. Was it all just necessary due to budgetary issues? Is there a part missing? Where are the FBI people mentioned in the credits?.
Nope! He was American. There were five Americans in the cast! The opening was shot in Dungeness!
The FBI? We had a couple of well known actors for that but the third was awful and on editing it I realized it would never work. Shame because the short film was a tribute to The X-files!
Very good Mr Moss. One slick production all round. Took me back to the great Tales of the Unexpected. Fabulously dark short-stories, all tied up neatly with a bow in half an hour. Bravo 🏆🎬🇬🇧
Dude that was really good, why aren't you pushing it more? Even the acting is film quality, I'm surprised at how good the plot line was, don't give up on your dreams you've got talent
Thanks! That was made 30 years ago. I did push it but was told it was too American (it was shot in London and Kent UK), or too slick, or too clever, or no one is doing vampire movies now! Most short films in the UK at that time were Avant Garde, ie no story! I just wanted to make horror films - but nobody in the UK wanted to know! There were so many young filmmakers doing the rounds with me who just vanished! Heartbreaking, really!
@@alanmoss3603That’s awful. Considering the trash that gets produced it’s crazy to think how many talented people like yourself are pushed away in favor of the same old nonsense.
That was pretty good mate! Looks like late 80's early 90's ? I was around the same age as the lead actor by the look of it LOL. Early 20's... Well done! Have you made any more or was that just for a student project at the time?
I worked on all sorts of low budget stuff before my short-ish career in UK television. It was actually shot on film because it was designed to be shown in the many preview theaters around London. That was a mistake because most of the viewings have been on tape. The little film looks sooooo much better projected.
Wtf with the Nosferatu click bait preview pix?
