You saved me on a cold day, thank you! Somehow, one of my GFCI breakers tripped and I didn't know how to reset it. But that didn't stop me from "fooling around with it" and 2 other breakers, and the next thing I knew, 3 GFCI breakers were off, one of which controlled my fireplace heater (outside temp was 30 degrees!) and one that controlled my chest freezer. I watched this video and was immediately able to reset all 3 breakers. THANK YOU!

I already have a hole for the new anchors but some are a little big. Do I just fill them holes with some dirt or use an adhesive? Need to make the anchors more stable

I don’t have the option for the filter on the control panel so that it stops running. Can I just use the quick wash/stop bottom on the skimmer of the filter ? Thank you.

Thank you SO much for this video! I am not comfortable around electricity and my GFCI breaker would not reset and the TEST button was stuck inward. I’ve watched a bazillion videos on replacing this type of breaker and was very intimidated. After watching your video, learning to push to the right, I let it snap back to center, the TEST button popped out, I pushed it back in, flipped to the left and bada boom bada bing, I have lights! 😊

PSI running high, no good flow, and felt smart enough to do it myself after watching your video. We are pool owners of 1 1/2 yrs not knowing this backwash action. 15 minutes later our pool is running better than ever. We will make this a normal process.

Good video. I have an electric heater- AquaCal. I have a several speed Hayward, control panel is identical to yours pretty much. The actuator switches are operational and responsive. What I have been having trouble with, is getting the spa to heat up and run in a closed circuit. As opposed to spill over mode. I have used my hot tub 2x and I end up running up my Elec bill because spill over mode is on and I end up heating up the entire 10k gallons before I can enjoy the spa. If you know the answer, I would greatly appreciate it!!!

Thank you , so good to know. I was trying to figure out how to undo the T-cell to look at it . Phew, now I know that I only really need to do this at the end of the season. Is there any other reason why one would actually need to inspect the T-cell during the pool season?

What if you wanted to keep the pool closed but open the spa?

Should the filter/pump be on when heating the pool or spa? Also, do you recommend leaving both on overnight?

Do i need to open my vaccuum pipes? And return pipes to the pool?

Filter pressure is way too high, what do I do?

Question , can these gfci breakers go bad ? My hot tub stop working and and was told the breaker went bad, it's been really good for about 4 yrs. It's getting stuck on won't reset

I know this video is old, I noticed that none of the springs have the covers. Half of mine are ripped can I just leave them off?

When I close my inground pool for the winter, I drain the water level to just below the return jets so I can blow out the return line and cap them. After blowing out all the other lines, should I then refill the pool? If So, to what level ? What happens if rain and melting snow brings the water level high enough where it enters the skimmer. Should I use a pump to lower the water level below the skimmer? I have a Gizzmo in each skimmer but am still scared of water getting in and causing freezing damage should the Gizzmo fail.
