Hulkouts - Your integration of the transformation sound effects from the 1978-81 TV series, with the more contemporary film visuals, is a MARVELOUS work of art (pun intended!) It’s giving us the best of both worlds! I particularly like the end result of how you combined the classic TV transformation sound with the ‘false starts’ of Banner’s attempts to transform in ‘Endgame.’ I don’t think any high-end professional editor could have done a better job! I was around for the original TV series (I was ten, at the time), and I consider myself a connoisseur of the classic TV series’s visuals & sound effects during the transformations. The pilot had the first transformation sound version, which Ken Johnson described (correctly) as a choir of voices humming/chanting, much like we hear as the astronauts surround the monolith in Kubrick’s film, “2001.” (I think that that is what gave Ken Johnson the inspiration for the first sound effect version.) We then got a slightly modified version of that for “Death in the family,” and then further modifications/adjustments during the abbreviated first season. The ‘transformation’ and ‘reformation’ sounds settled into a sort of ‘standard’ version by the start of the second season, and stayed that way for roughly two seasons. This is what I think of as the ‘default’ or ‘classic’ sound. The various episodes had variations within the ‘classic’ sound effect, however: There would be fade-outs or fade-ins that would shorten the overall duration of the transformations, on a number of episodes. Still other episodes would have variations on the relative durations of the various ‘sub-portions’ of sound, within the overall transformation. In my own head cannon, there is a “standard’ fixed time that the transformation from Banner to the Hulk takes, and likewise with the changeback. The ideal transformation time, is about 35 seconds, plus or minus ten seconds (which gives all of the “sound phases” of the transformation TO and FROM, sufficient time to play and to register with the listener. (I also hold that the sound isn't audible in-universe, but is an audio parallel or proxy for what Banner is sensing internally.) I very much like the ‘changeback’ sound effects that occur, for example, at the end of the second hulkout in “Stop the Presses” and also at the end of the first hulkout in “Mystery Man Part 2.” (The key, seems to be to allow the full 35 seconds to play, and with sufficient time given to each subportion of the sound effect, and the show creators not ruining it with overlays of a character talking, or music playing, or other background noise such as dogs barking or birds chirping. Do I have a ‘dream request?’ Sure - There is a particularly well-done visual transformation of the Hulk back into banner, at the end of the second hulkout in ‘Death in the Family.’ I’d love to see the visuals from that, joined with what I am calling the ‘classic’ transformation (changeback) sound effect that occurred later in the series. (You used it on one track of the changeback from the Hulk to Banner, in the 2003 film, in which Betty approaches the Hulk on the streets of San Francisco). The ‘classic’ changeback sound effect runs maybe 35 to 40 seconds, and that may not precisely coincide with the visuals from ‘Death in the family.’ There is wiggle room, however, because the part of the visuals involving Julie observing the changeback, could be edited out. :) Whether you knock yourself out on this, is up to you; Whether you do or not, I remain VERY grateful for the ‘best of both worlds’ editing that you’ve already supplied us! Finally, if you or anyone else knows where a dedicated fan can obtain the ‘raw’ soundtrack of the transformation sound effect (the ‘pure’ effect, not mixed with any music or other audio track from any of the broadcast episodes), I would ••LOVE•• to be able to add that to my collection! :D

Interesting transformation at 3:11, as he lurches forward off the chair... We don't see the sleeves burst, but we see the shreds flapping by his shoulders. Then we get the back of his shirt splitting open down the middle, with his bulky traps buldging, then his gigantic back bursts through. nice shoe burst at 0:18, and at 0:30, when his enormous elbows are gouging the wall as he hurltes down the corridor. Will you upload the 1982 cartoon transformations as well?
