My uncle's MGA imprinted me before I was old enough to drive. To this day it defines every element of what a true "Sports Car" is and the qualities it must possess.
I have really enjoyed following you here and on FB on your trip to GT-49. It seems like the MGC was the only car that suffered problems and the MGAs and Magnette performed perfectly !! Looking forward to more videos of your adventures.
Scenic backdrops, vibrant fall colors, beautiful cars and awesome people. Wishing we could have joined in the fun ! Thanks for sharing LeVerne. From the Cheers All!
Looked like it was an ideal day for a picnic. Wishing we could have been a part of it. Glad to see LaVerne able to get his TF about for a drive. Take care all! From the WNMC a west coast clubhouse in Sacramento CA. Bill😎, Maddie🐾 & Kayla🐾
i'm hopelessly conservative, i guess. my fav is the bone stock red one with the steelies. **shrug** ...and BTW, i STILL want to know how the the huey lewis cut got past the copyright rules. :)
Love this series. A great record of the before and after! I will be using them as a reference as I work on my pair of TR8s. Thanks for the attention to detail.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like it was a lot of fun in good weather. We are experiencing a major storm here in NirCal so our cars are parked indoors for a spell. Wishing all the group a Very Merry Holiday Season from the West Coast WNMC Clubhouse Cheers. Bill and Maddie.
Thank you for visiting Nucla on the 15th, I have all of my footage here. The cars were amazing. I got you guys on CO Hwy 141 on your way to Cortez. ruclips.net/p/PLO3E9RnaBFsmQ_I8hudjJzLSNuhnJNiGG
All of the interior came from Newton Commercial in the UK. They supply Rimmer Brothers with their kits. Since I wanted a little bit of customizing they sent me directly to Newton. It wasn't cheap but I'm happy with what I received
i've got a nicely restored red one, but i'd rather have that green. lovely! i can see why the drivers' door hinges often get worn prematurely. it's just too easy to put ones' entire weight on it while pushing down to get out of the darn thing! i'll have to experiment on less destructive methods of egress. :)
I am just in the process of adding a heater to my 1951 TD. Last few years I used a blanket in the Fall and early Spring but a heater seems like a nice addition.
I was there the day before, same problem with the rain clouds too. The sun was not out and the colors did not pop, but a beautiful drive any way. Drove up Lands End and across the top. Lots of bear sign above Rose Picnic area.
Wow. That’s awesome.! Love the bumper music. I recognize it but can’t come up with the artist. Senior moment. Looks like perfect weather. Can’t wait for Part II
This is an excellent video. I was told that LaVerne was driving the TR8. Any major dude would have really enjoyed this rally and I certainly did. Thanks. Our club motto is KIU100! (Keep it under 100!)
That looked like a fun rally. Enjoyed the old town buildings. What was the prewar SC BRG MG? The Turd sure looked pretty even wet! Lol. Thanks for sharing LaVerne
I like the format for the video, nice & great music too.
Great pics, great cars. Wish the slide show was a little slower though.
Wow, you really got the spirit of our trip! Now I can relax & see everything :)

Good to see English classics being driven and enjoyed in a foreign country!

Nice cars. Looks like fun as well as scenic !
how'd you get away with "Small World"?
What is that cool car at the beginning of the video. Great video by the way 👍

Shut the dog up!
good vid !
Nice Blue. Great Front Spoiler. Scary wiring loom ...!
Wheel splines , prop shaft joints or something in rear axle .
crappy Moss 4:55 replacement gears.
Pinging tomming or big end
big end rod bearing had excessive clearance
Car folks doing good things
When did it do something different to standard?
Cute car, what is it?
A blue one 🙂

The accompanying music is the worst, most irritating and annoying noise I've ever heard. I'd rather listen to an electric drill.
lol....just turn the sound down...or fire up your drill then

I know the dogs are part of the family, but it's time shoot them or let them bark at the neighbors
the lewis and getz cut made all the difference. ...how'd THAT get past the tube's copyright rules?
Very nice, hoping to see you guys again this year. Cheers, Lynn
Where did you get the new seat covers and interior? Do you like it?

LaVerne Was this Mark’s first outing in the car? What was his impressions ?

That original color combination is stunning! Beautiful work!
first minute or so seems to be the same as the previous one. didn't watch the rest.
It's the exact same...just slowed it down where the text was so you didn't require speed reading.
Looking good, LaVerne! Another TD, back from the dead!
Great Work. Looks and sounds great!
Now that sounds great!
cool
i have one too.. don’t know what to do to it
rattling was too much for me after about a minute.
Sweet little number!

Nice job LaVerne, love your TR8!
Congrats on your TR8 award Another fine video.
Another excellent video, LaVerne! Can't wait to see part two b. And the music, Stevie Ray Vaughn, is perfect! There must be a story behind that...
Thanks Ken....no part B...just didn't like the first music I put to the pictures so put the SRV to it as it seemed a better fit.

Great spot for a camera today, I was at the doubletree..
Bill Chasser - that was a '29 or '31 ( I forget now) Type L with a rare Type Q body (rounded off tail) with a supercharger. Great job Laverne!
