Customer stated this transmission has been recently rebuilt TWICE because of gears grinding. Apparently new forks and pads weren't the obvious choice......

Was there any difference felt after throttle body install, i.e. throttle response etc...?
It was noticeably quicker in response. More than I thought it would be. I just wanted more airflow.
@timgamble2465 I'm the same. I will install mine in the morning. I've used tb before on my Camaro but not on Corvette yet.
Sounds awesome! Is this with kooks headers only or is there something more done like high flow or no cats?
This particular video was just Kooks Headers. It now has their high flow cats and a different sound altogether.

What all internally was done?
I remember having a fully built NA CRX before these hit the streets. I thought I was bad. Anyhow, had one roll up on me, stock as can be. Still paper plates. Ran me off the line and smoked my ass and that was the day I left the import world and went American. Sold my CRX and bought a 99 Z28.
That hissing noise sounds like an exhaust leak my friend
@cwlch1597 it was ambient noise on the shop. When you record w a cell phone fan noise sounds different. Zero leaks on this one.
My stock 02 Camaro SS started with 314 RWHP. I have the dual dual performance package. 345 HP factory option After the tune I got 324. 391HP to the crank Six speed only way to go. When people look at my car any 4th Gen f-body the first thing they want to know; Is it a manual transmission. I always get the ooh and the ahh when they see it's not a horrible automatic lol The Firehawk is the Firebird to have

Changing the throttle body takes about 30 minutes give or take. The hardest part was trimming the intake tube down to accommodate the throttle body adapter plate. But overall throttle response was great.

We still use the bypass valve just not the control solenoid. Delete that portion.

@@DeepStageTuningAndPerformance i removed the solenoid and caped the lower driver side port and hocked the upper passenger side with the lower passenger side is that correct?
What size rims front and back? Off set?
What kind of numbers are you getting out of this setup? I'm debating on one for my 02 c5... it's an auto though
It picks up about 130 to 150hp and runs smooth.
As a modded C7Z/Z07 owner I approve 😎. My suggestion is to lower it on factory bilts and eliminate the factory 4x4 option. Beautiful Z

Trans Am and Firehawk are two different cars. It's a Firebird Trans Am or a Firebird Firehawk

No. With the valve delete and proper adjustment of the valves no codes. It's all in who installs it.

What was the oil pressure when you realised it was low ? And what was the improvements ?
A shop up in Colorado built the original motor and forgot the oil gasket on the chain tensioner, so it was in the single digits when warm and they told him it was "normal". Also was never really tuned because the oil pressure situation.

Being LS swapped it was super tight and needed the x pipe to balance flow.
that weld holding the two curves together was NASTY. at least it wasn't for airflow. actually all those welds in the shot were pretty shabby, did you not have scrap material to dial in the settings?
It was mild steel and super inconsistent. Blow through was atrocious.
Why you mig welding an exhaust your putting on a porsche?
Because the customer was on a tight budget and TIG is definitely more expensive to do.

wow an oklahoma build at that would you do work in a 98 civic coupe
unfortunately we don't work on any imports. This Porsche being LS Swapped was the only reason we worked on it.
