I've been a Beach Boy fan since the early 60's but on this one I'll take the Regents original version, rude, crude and killer saxophone. You youngsters can have this one.

Carl is still deeply missed. He left this life too soon. The Beach Boys had the most Top 40 hits than any other band in rock history. It's too bad their personal lives were so tragic. I'm happy to know Brian is still alive after fighting a lifetime depression. I can relate to that but it must of been a lot more difficult to live with it in the past.

Great performance. Love seeing Brian live on the Bass. Still, it’s ironic that this song charted at number 2, while “Wouldn’t it Be Nice” only made it to number 8. I could see how Brian would find that disappointing as a songwriter
