I have a 1 yr old lawn that immediately looked better after applying Anderson's new lawn starter. I'm aerating next week and l have clay soil full of small rocks directly under my Bermuda. Would you recommend applying again if I'm low in Phosphate and Potassium or another fertilizer? I'm adding in dirt booster as well

Raking is very important to clear all the leaves, twigs, acorns, helicopter seeds off the soil to allow water, lime and fertilizer easier access to the roots of the grass plant and to give the grass blade better exposure to the sun for photosynthesis. I find that the vast majority of people hate raking and their lawns suffer for that reason. Also, de-thatching would help in this regard.

Can you put down Duocide in the Spring to get rid of the grub worms that are present now so that they will not emerge in June as Beetles? I am in the Mid-Atlantic area and use a cool season grass, but I have noticed grubs everywhere already.

I just got the 16-4-8 . I didn’t do a soil test this year since my cool season grass is always deficient in the phosphorus every year. I did get a separate bag of humic which I’ll throw down after the fertilizer.

perfect timing on this video and series as i just received my soil test kit last week . it'll be the first time i've actually had my soil tested. now if only it would stop raining so i could pull the sample! i've been using the Anderson products for the past few years with great results.
