The forge is easily the BEST version so far. I’ve made several maps and it’s just ridiculous how much is possible. I don’t even bother playing forge on other halo games anymore because compared to infinite, there’s almost literally nothing you can do in them. Not only is infinite’s forge menu 100x bigger, but they added script brains which allow you to write your own code. It’s fantastic. Furthermore, the theatre mode does work pretty well. Comparable to halo reach, for example.

halo infinite gameplay wise was incredible in its level of fun-ness , the staff / devs just fumbled it big time with too slow updates that were lack luster and a downgrade from previous titles sadly

The issue isn’t if it’s a good game now, it’s how long it took for it to even get to that point after all the shit that happened. Nevermind the horrible microtransactions, broken promises, and the bad to mid campaign/story.

I don’t know ever since reach I have never been invested in 343 releases. They lack soul and the core of what made halo such a success to begin with. Sure infinite story and multiplayer is better than there previous releases but it doesn’t change how it doesn’t stack up to halos that came out decades previous . It’s a twisted modernised version with corporate greed like battle passes and lacklustre cosmetics. Reach genuinely embodied the best of gaming I miss those days so much

I finished a 3rd of Farcry 6 before I played Infinite's campaign. It felt eerily similar when I captured a small outpost and saved a group of marines, then I looked at the map and thought to myself "Farcry: Halo Edition"

I did have fun with the grapple hook to a certain point, but the level design/world structure definitely felt uninspired and copy/pasted. Great video man, as always 👍

I was taking it back when I heard “what else is there to do once you’ve played it”……. I’m a diehard halo co-op campaign player. I waited till campaign co-op was available, and I’ve never stopped playing since. Doing replays with various skulls and new weapon/equipment combos is the hidden gem within this game. You haven’t truly seen its potential, until you beat it on Max difficulty with your best friend, with swords and skewers. Seriously fun. I probably play this halo even more than any of the others.

Im a big halo fan and i stopped playing over 6 months ago. It just took to long to fix stuff and im just having so much more fun with The finals.

I hate infinite forge bc you can’t use anything unless you go into test mode, I miss messing around with friends killing them with a grid or making my friends tank fly while he was in it
