I had an Indian HMRC the other night…Home Made Rogan Curry…

I find it hard to fathom how anyone would fall for this shit. 'Court House' - really? The police don't get involved with HMRC underpayents. Egregious financial fraud, yes. Tax underpayment, not a police matter. I would have told them I want to go to court. I had a similar call a year back, I had a lot of fun, he thought he was up for a big pay day and decided at the last minute I was going to take the court option (apparently the police were literally on their way to arrest me.).. odd... I was away in the New Forest for a few days holiday.

He should have told him that the Mice are the government of this planet.

These calls are hilarious, although it is easy to see how vulnerable people can be mislead. What would have been nice is if the scammer in this video had his number displayed so as to warn others to be on the look out for this or similar numbers!

"under your name". Just say "what is my name?" "Ever heard of data protection law?" Also we Brits never call our courts, as "court house".

I had these scammers call me. They asked for my full address and so I gave them the Russian Embassy address in London. Then they asked for my sort code which I gave them as HMRC sort code. The line went dead after that.......cannot think why? 😂

I received this call today. I kind of got scared when they called me from the number in the hmrc website. But thank god, I somehow managed to end the call and escape from the scam. Thanks for your video. It was exactly like the same in the video that person talked to me.

I’ve had a similar scam call in the past from “HMRC”. Just like here they showed me another number they called me from and it matched HMRCs number. Anyone wonder how they do it?

FFS, i can werify this call, so you dont have to worry about that. Its only be on the line a few minutes, but the BS ometer is going haywire.

Who in their right mind thinks that the penalty on a £1,700 tax liability is £19,000? If its a civil action, the fine is likely 50%, if its a criminal action, i assume the judge decides. So for this, thing, to come up with such a random and high number is catestrophically ridiculous.

i got an electronic voice this morning saying we're calling from HMRC/IRS obviously its a scam as they seem to be confused everyone knows that IRS are in America not UK duh.

I got a call as well but I quickly hang up and block these numbers. These scammers don’t know when to stop 🤦🏾‍♀️

Got the exact same call today. I just moved to the UK, which I think they somehow knew because they said i “haven’t paid my immigration tax and owe the govt an amount of £2146”. It’s scary how similar the conversation was, with them telling me I had 2 options of going to court or paying now, asked if I used other banks like Revolut and Monzo, etc. they even offered to set up a payment plan so I could pay them what I “owed” over the next 12 months! So please beware that these guys are still around. I did call the *actual* HMRC after and reported their numbers. These guys deserve to be jailed for life.

Try tricking the HMRC scammers into calling the real HMRC and see how they react! I'm sure that they'll get the shock of their lives if the real HMRC found out about the scammers impersonating them! lol😂
