God I’m glad they un-retired. So sad they’re about to retire again.

Jayne is married and that must have been hard for Chris to accept. Chris has been married two times I think. But what else could he do. He had to try and make a life for himself. It must be difficult for his wife to watch them on the ice. The way they dance anyone can see how in love they really are. Even if Jayne try’s to be aloof it still shows. I think Jayne was afraid that he was so handsome she would never be able to trust him. After all she knows him better than any of us.

I love how at the beginning of the clip they're sitting an appropriate distance apart, and by the end there's no space at all between them. They keep inching closer to each other all through the clip, and in the middle Chris finally figures "oh, what the hell!" and slides up next to her! It's so cute!!

I understand why they kept things platonic. They probably wouldn't have had the long and wonderful career if they'd gotten involved with each other. Still......the way Chris looks at Jayne (then and now), if she even gave him the slightest HINT of encouragement, he would have married her in a heartbeat!!

Chris’s wrinkles are sexy and he is super handsome. Jayne looks beautiful. These two have a closeness that I have never seen before. I love the way they look at each other.❤

This relationship is so hard to fathom. I've never known a love like what I see in them. I suspect many of us have not. But I also think these two have another passion that is precious to them, their passion for the ice. They need that partnership as much as they need breath. At their level, Chris would never find another Jayne. She won't find another Chris. They could solo, but the sum is greater than its parts. I can respect how they might agree not to gamble with what they have. They could lose their perfect partner to a failed romance. I admire their other partners who must be enormously generous of heart.

That was so sweet, worth a replay. I guess we can't be blamed for wondering about their intimacy. I know of no other couple who have been that close for that long without a little something going on. I know I've never had a relationship like that, something that precious and enduring. It is to their credit and so beautiful to see that it is impossible to envy. Instead, they make me smile. My thanks to their spouses for their generosity of heart.
