Wow, built in 1911, abutting an iffy steep slope that may or not be bedrock, and yet no history of fires, mudslides or earthquakes in that area after 100+ years as far as you know, and it's still standing? That's one strong old, Lady of The Canyon. I'd buy it... ❤

if any area or neighborhood in LA is Hip & Cool, it's more than likely way out of most people's price range. the main reason that those old school Rock people lived there was because it was affordable in the middle 1960's. the same thing goes for Venice beach.
Yes, they were paying $150 or $200 a month for normal sized LC houses in the late 60s.

The home burned down and was not torn down. I watched it burn.
And the inside?
The inside was not being shown because it had been completely gutted. No kitchen, no bathrooms, no staircase, no floors. Only buyers with accepted offers were allowed to view the inside with a hard hat.
Great video with great visuals. There's so much potential, a clean slate. I can't wait to see the changes!

You can see all these houses from the outside. They are in clear view from the sidewalk. You just can walk on to the property or disturb the residence.
