I got this video recommended for some reason so I'll talk about what move you did and what I think of it. First of all, e5 is nice, Nc6 is nice, but I really don't like you giving a check. You're not going to win with a random check. Your opponent gets a free pawn move, and you just lose a tempo moving the bishop back. Really bad move. Putting it back to c5 is good. Then, he plays d4, and you don't take the pawn? you move your bishop back? just take the pawn... now he takes your pawn, and you're down a pawn. Nge7 is fine, but I don't really like it because your queen is now boxed in. Maybe f6 was better, so that if he takes your pawn, you get a free tempo with developing your knight. Castling is good. Then, you attacked his bishop, that's good, but when he took your knight, you took with the pawn? You should take with the knight... now your pawns are doubled and particularly much weaker. Then for some reason, he walks into a mating net?? Doesn't really work but still kinda stupid. Then he takes a free pawn, you create the mating net. He takes your pawn with the knight. If he took with the queen, you'd have gotten checkmated, but you somehow checkmate, yourself. Wow.
