Hey mate, where’d you get parts for the log trailer
When adding up hours can you write say 10.75 instead of 10 3/4 decimals instead of fractions
$180 fine and the rest
well he has made mistake
Awesome,but can't you just use a Calculator ?
And that kids is how you end up getting fined for calculating your hours wrong - 9.75hrs marked in your book, not 10...
This demonstration is NOT 100% accurate; I wouldn't suggest using this method. If we break down his logbook time and do the math, you'll see why: Rest time: 6 + 2/4 + 1/4 + 2/4 + 3/4 + 1/4 + 2/4 + 5 2/4 = 14.25 resting hours Work time: 2 1/4 + 1 2/4 + 1 1/4 + 1/4 + 2 + 3/4 + 1 3/4 = 9.75 working hours If you struggle with counting time, do yourself a favour and get a times/logbook calculator from the apps store.
All you need is 2 log books 😂😅
Not that accurate Jock strap
Um, I think he is 1/4 of an hour out on his calculations, so maybe not fool proof?
Clever stuff, well done.
Which Triffett owns this
Weird looking wrx... unless you are referring to it's misfire
Australia is way behind we use a USB over here
?
Awesome! 👍👍👌👌
Mate, that's great
mate that is brilliant love it simple and affective thank you
Very clever !
I’ve been fixing the full size ones for 5 years now, you hit the nail on the head mate. Attention to detail is unreal, looks awesome 👍🏻
Clever method 👍🏻
I find it easier to just I dunno count em up 💁🏼
There are a lot of people out there that are literally and numerally challenged, who might at times struggle with the task of courting hours correctly. It's very unfair that they could be fined ( sometimes into the thousands of dollars ) for something that is nothing more than a clerical error. If there is any way to prevent this, then all avenues must be explored.
I started out by building the wrong kit. I used the green Aussie Western Star kit. and was quite a way into the build before I realized I should have used the blue Constellation. which it does actually say on the lid of the trans kit. Other than that it was quit a nice kit to put together. I also used the day cab rear panel from Auslowe as well as using a lot of own built parts from Acrylic and resin.
Nice there was one back in the eightys down triabunna way but he couldn't take his on public roads he stayed on foresty roads
That Tas log one used to run from Bell Bay to Brighton, then it was just running about up north, Haven't seen it about for a while. The Triabunna truck is still running about, I see it up the North West from time to time. The guy runs it as a ridged and carries 20 foot containers. It's still in the original white with blue paint scheme. I was talking to Rick Sutcliff about it, he recons it has a 20 speed Spicer box in it.
@@aussietruckphotosandmodels8510 not sure what box was in it a friend had a twin steer kw on logs in the early 80s with 8 v 92 gm the owner of this truck told me that they were nearly identical thanks for the reply cheers
Big thanks to my son for up loading these photos to YT We were having a clean up and found a few USB's with over 4000 photos on them which I had taken while doing Interstate trucking with TasTrans. The first few were taken on the Toll ship which runs from Burnie Tasmania to Webb dock Melbourne. We usually ship on the Spirit of Tasmania in and out of Devonport. The rest of the photos were taken while I was sitting around various truck stops on the eastern side of mainland Australia, probably circa 2015 ish..
do you need to record your rest breaks as well
Big thank you to my son for going through my photos and putting them some where I can't loose them... I whish he had been there back in the day when I was doing Europe, Russia, China and the Middle East...
So simple yet brilliant! Thanks mate!
Just tried this, THANK YOU!
Just use the logbook checker app, calculates everything for you, including weekly/fortnightly hours. A ruler would be a good idea as well hey.
Where did u get the western star cus I've been looking for one
Sorry Jack never saw your post till now Nigel At Auslowe sells the conversion. You need the Constellation Western Star for the donner ( The blue one with the Girl decal on the side ) There's a photo of it on part one..
Seems like a lot mucking around.
Nicely done! Great build with fantastic detail!
