LWCG Double Steps | The Amsteel Guy 1/8 Rope Mod | Camless Buckle Method w/Amsteel
I first wondered what the point of the prusik on the lineman's loop was. Then it dawned on me that it's genius. Well done on the whole system.
Any tips on an easy way to feed through the belt slot on the saddle? I was thinking of trying to pull it through with a straightened coat hanger
Would the versa button loop fit around the lock down tab for the skeletors?
Yes
Man you make this look easy. I’ve been fighting for my life to get these on but I’ve got 2 so far. Great product though.
Having a ton of trouble trying to bury the tail.. anyone have any tips not covered in video
Send a link
Can you use these as a tree tether for stand hunting
Just ordered some. They look great!
Where do those connector bolts come from?
What gauge wire do you use? I have a puller, but it’s too thick to get the bury finished. I need to try it with wire, but not sure where/what to get?
what the best way to attach it to a tethrd onestick?
Wish I had watched this earlier. I ended up doing mine this way with the puller. But the first one I pushed the blue needle through the 7” bury. 😂
So running it back through is kind of like backserving a bow string? I ordered one last night, I'm sick of stock belt loosening up throughout a sit.
@@James.712 correct! That’s a great way to describe it
I wear a 33 to 34 waist jean. Any recommendations on how long/short to cut it while leaving room for layers and colder weather?
@@James.712 we leave it super long where it will fit up to 48” waist. I recommend make it as long as possible. Put your clothes on and trim about 4” longer than that!
Will these work on Cranford rope steps?
Yes!
@@theamsteelguy4114 you should do a video
What link can I go to to order? This will work great with ghost blind!
We will be posting this soon! Probably the next week or two!

Very nice!!!!
Great work, Sam. Keep it up!
Excited for this. Congrats on finally going to market!
Where can I order these ?

@@theamsteelguy4114 link is dead. i'm guessing it's now "Single Step Aider for Double Steps Sticks" ?
Just got mine, I was wanting adjustable length for the bridge. It’s great quality, can’t wait to try it out.
Do you sell the setup
That first step is a DOOSEY
Awesomeness! Also a lefty😂. Brought 1 on Etsy 👍
How do you attach these to your Xop x2 sticks?
Slide it through the outer triangle hole and wrap around the tip of your step
Smart I got aiders from Amazon for 13 dollars
Which aider is this on your etsy page . Wanna make sure i order the correct one . Thanks
Does this effect folding the step up?
Not at all!
Boys climbin up them sticks in hey dudes
Imo this is the best simplest safest quietest way to hang a stick other than the factory straps
Jesus Christ ! 10x faster with a cam buckle
Is the step you are using the new XOP x2's?
Wish you would have given us a close up of this in action
Great concept Sam. I like it.
What’s going on? What’s this about? I can’t even
I love your products! If I wanted to upgrade an existing rope mod for sticks, to a USA system, what size continuous loop do I need (to make the prussic) to work with the beast tender?
1/8” 10” diameter
Can you tell me where do I order the amsteel rope with the tenders already on them for one sticks and the new trophy onyx saddle stand. I want the larger amsteel rope for the onyx and the one pictures for the sticks. Names are confusing.
www.etsy.com/listing/1207256503/usa-ultimate-stick-attachment?click_key=1beaff0a50d0221cfd2d418fb6dc4ddc01064d56%3A1207256503&click_sum=688598cf&ref=shop_home_recs_2&crt=1 Save10 will save 10%. You’ll want the stand/platform pro for the onyx. The sticks you can go regular or pro. They both work well
Can these be used with the wild eagle step ladder steps?
I have a 3 step aider like this was made for a double step stick , Is there any way to covert it to use for a single step stick ? Thanks
Just got mine from you in yesterday mail. Thanks for the vid. I had it looped over the step and was worried about it wearing. Your way is much better.
How big (long) is the continuous loop?
Mine just arrived...it's a game changer! Thanks
another plus about putting the aider in the front is when you put weight on the aider it will drive the bottom forks of your stick into the tree
Where do we get these aiders?
Hey buddy if I order the normal USA series on double steps will this be what comes with it? Wanting to order a couple pros but was wanting to make sure this beast tender come on the non pro series
The beast tender comes on all USA’s we sell now
@@theamsteelguy4114 great!
I’m just now learning about Amsteel and I’m sure this is a dumb question… I got mine today and had no problem setting my platform with it. That said loosening it to get it back off was a pain. What’s the best way to loosen it back up to take it off?
Can this mod be used on any stick and not just a "Beast Stick" or am I reading too much into the name....
Reading too much into the name. It’s named after the plastic piece which is a “beast d ring”
This is exactly what I did when I got my One Sticks before you made them available (I bought aiders for a different model, which we know are pretty much the same), except looped on side on permanent (with a loop pass through) and then used zing it on the other side with a few pass-thoughts to ensure it stayed on. Got into making my own Amsteel stuff, but always go to you for the more complex items (aka, beyond my skills)... Thanks!
Is there anywhere I can get a better detailed explanation of what this beast tender does? I’ve seen the USA used with and without and still have no clue what this tender does. 🤷🏻♂️
Would you prefer this over a Zingit tender?
I don't see this option on EWO yet. is there an ETA?
