I mount a new BIGTREETECH 5 inc touchscreen V1.2 and printed his support, also I changed the bottom fan with a Noctua one. The noise is way lower, just need now to check the temperature. I want to share the first 3D printed benchy right after assembling my Sovol SV08 (Voron Clone). I used the PLA white filament by Sovol arrived with the printer. This my first Core XYZ printer and first one with Klipper, so I'm a super beginner.

The fan you listed is a 4 pin PWM fan, how did you wire it to work with 2 wires and no PWM?
Noctua usually adds in a bunch of adapter cables in the box.

did you just run an HDMI and USB cabe under the printer and then over to the external ports on the side?
Seems slow doing the Autolevel, once gets going has some speed, noise as reported in other videos
yes but this video is already old, now I fixed the noise and also modded the printer for better performance, but still try to improve again. The community around it is amazing

The modeler for now just made Charmender, Bulbasaur and Squirtle + their evolution and just Pikachu....I plan to print everything he made and hopefully also Raichu in the future :)

Nice and clean install of the screen! no visible cables, did you use cables with 90 degree angled connectors?
I bought the BTT V1.2, the second version has the port in a different way from the first version so I was able to pass the cables from inside without passing from outside
@@sword_lab Good to know. I was looking at a 7" panel om Amazon that had the connectors roughly half way on the back of the screen, but 7" might be a bit too large. Thanks, i'll go on the hunt for the BTT V1.2.

What's that crackling noise on the Z movements?
that's a common issue; it appears to be threadlocker sitting on the sides of the belts for the Z. Cleaning them with rubbing alcohol seems to fix it.

Fan Noise... without even printing... hell no... Why such crappy fans? Bambulab A1 mini is completely silence...
Because the A1 Mini uses a smaller fan with less cooling. SV08 has a bigger fan with a higher RPM and even better cooling, to a comical degree. That's the requirement for speed. But the board fan is absolute trash that shit is too loud they should've used a 120mm fan
already changed the board fan and it’s much better. Also I don’t care about the noise honestly…I wanted a big plate and an open source printer
My Wife would throw it out of a Window. Nothing for Living Rooms in my Opinion.

im 0 knwoledge in 3d printer. is it done by same 3d printer? and how long does it take to print?
sorry for the late answer, yes is made by the same printer but with 2 different type of resin, the standard gray and the transparent one. it takes I think around 30h of printing, but super detailed
