Thanks Ken. That 66 Chevelle you have is very nice
Looking good Stove!
Thanks Buff!!!
I just bought a 1966 chevelle after wanting one for about 37 years. So came across your channel and subscribed after typing in 1966 chevelle a few times. I’m impressed with your ability to tackle a project like this. I was surprised to hear it was your first considering you appear to be doing a nice job with this. I’m glad you showed us the underneath because the body/paint on the car look great. I’m looking forward to watching more videos from this project. Ken
Thank you Ken, I have owned this car since 1996 and the time finally came for me to just dive in and learn. It's been stressful, nerve racking and very gratifying all wrapped up into one. I hope you enjoy your 66 chevelle! Thank you for taking your time to watch i appreciate it!
HOLD!!!😂 Looking forward to your next episode and seeing the progress.
Thats the best line from Brave Heart!
huge props for doing all the work yourself! what a great learning lesson. I wouldnt know where to begin. cant wait to see finished product.
Thanks Kevin, it's definitely been a learning experience for sure! Thanks for watching!
Been waiting for you to get started again. Looking good keep up the good work.
Thanks Del!
That was eye opening. So much debris inside the rockers.I have a 66 also but it has been in the garage for the last 27 years so I am hoping there isn't this much damage. I did see where you opened up the toe board there is access to the nuts that hold the firewall body mounts. Thanks this was helpful for sure. Best of luck to you.
I had to split the cage to get the body mount bolts out and replace the square nuts. Thanks for watching!
Enjoy your videos. Would love to hear the background of this car.
Thank you for taking the time to watch, i really appreciate it! I will have to make a video on that sometime.
Looks good!! It’s a lot of work!!
Thank you! A lot of work ahead yet. Your cars are pretty killer! Been watching your channel. Keep up the great work!
Did Jason get it in the 9’s?
I believe the pass was 10.18
Hey guy what size tire are on the back
235/60/15
Why did you have to change converter? What stall did you put in?
The converter was to tight, it was basically a stock 12 inch converter. We went to a 2800-3200 10 inch stall converter.
@@midnightmischiefgarage That should smooth out when you put it in gear and taking off.
My 66 was an Automatic Trans , I found a true 67 SS and got all the clutch pedals and all linkage , My 66 is now a 4 speed with an 11 inch clutch, I also added the Super Sport dash parts and the P RND21 is gone . And the engine is a 1971 small block 4 bolt main LT1 350 making 375hp
Sounds like a fun car to drive! Enjoy it! Thank you for watching!
Great Job. Really great idea building a different chassis alongside the original!! I was wondering what size are the front tires on the new frame?
Thank you! The old frame is in pretty bad shape. The front tire size are 205/70/15. Thank you for watching!!
Why are you taking it apart for , Put a built 283 or 327 in it with a Muncie 4 speed and drive the wheels off it
Its being taken apart to do metal work on the underside and being put on a new chassis. Thanks for watching!
@@midnightmischiefgarage , I got Three of them , One is a 136 Malibu like yours and the other Two are 138 Super Sport cars
About to do this with my 66 Chevelle. Just exploded the 396, replacing it with a Blueprint 496. Kinda makes it all worthwhile.
Sounds like a fun ride to me!!!
Thanks for sharing! This is fun to watch. Also like how you’re original music is included.
Thanks Matt!!
Killer intro music!
Damn you do great work crust! Looks amazing!
Thanks Buff!!!!
Damn where does the time go I remember when you bought this car! Great job on the video keep them coming.
