@@michellem8055 thank you. Stay on the journey. You’ll find something that works for you sooner or later . I’ve used Franklin since 1982 but I’m always changing planner sizes and styles. I guess it never really changes. We are always looking for the right thing.
What fountain pen and ink worked best with this FC classic Leadership pages?
@@emilym8606 I haven’t found any that do yet. Everyone I’ve used has ghosted to the next side of the page. I’m using LAMY Safari fine nib with Waterman Serenity Blue ink. I’ve stopped using fountain pens and use Frixion exclusively.

@@emdeehogan5078 I always say the best thing I did was convince her to marry me 46 years ago. I also say, I may only stay around for another 50 years! I sometimes call her my ex-girlfriend or my first wife. She’s been with me long enough that she’s over my funny business.

@@amyharvick4959 Good for you Amy. I had never read the Bible either until I started my journey almost a year ago. I bought a NLT (New Living Translation) study bible at our local church supply store. The wording is close to the way we speak today and the study notes are awesome! I learn so much about that time in history from the study notes it’s incredible. The tabs on the side of the Bible come from the store as a separate item. They have instructions on how to place them. Let me tell you, it’s simple if I can do it! The top tabs I use for marking the pages are from Midori. You get eight in a package for about $14. A little pricey but I like to have them sticking out so I can find my spot easily. You can also use Book Darts as page markers. They are less expensive and work just as well. All of these things can be found on Amazon. Hey, good luck in your journey. Please keep in touch and we can chat back and forth on our progress through faith.

@@amyharvick4959 I’m using the NLT (New Living Translation) study bible. It uses verbiage that people of today can relate to. I got mine at a local church book store but I see on Amazon it’s a little cheaper!

I Love this video and I am planning on doing something similar for 2025, just switch Classic to “Monarch” as I am partially blind/Visually impared. And My Pocket Planner is an EDC Wallet as well, (More Business Card holder inserts, etc), and My Pocket Binder is an older Blue Anna Snap and a Vintage Pocket Zip 6 months at a time. I do own a lot of Classic Size Binders though and I actually prefer the Color of The Navy Blue Storage Case the best I wish that color was available for Pocket and Monarch!! Oh, My Planning pages are hopefully Monarch 2 Pg/day Leadership and Pocket Monticello Weekly! Also I use mostly blank Wide Lined Pages due to my Visual impairment!
Quick question: I ordered the 7 habits. The paper seems very thick. Is the serenity paper lighter and thinner? Great video! not many planners in the planning community are doing videos on Franklin Covey I appreciate this
@@MoniM_ serenity, seven habits, and leadership are all the same paper weight. If you’re looking for something thinner, you need to go to the Monticello. But they use soy based ink so if you’re using Frixion pens and try to erase, more of that ink will smear. And forget about using fountain pens.
Hi there! How do you like the two Lamys, which one do you find more pleasing in the real world? I am still debating between the Aquatic and Sage. I find the Aquatic body color very nice but I find the grip color maybe a bit too much(I think of Police when looking at it), at least from the photos online. In your video it seems more like a black to dark color which I like. I like the Sage a lot as well and the more subtle differences between the colors used but I would've loved for it to be a bit darker, like Irish Green. Thank you!
@@paulmusescu I like the sage color the best. The other one I keep in my planner in case I need to sign some documents. My everyday pen is the sage colored. It’s been hinted that I’m getting a new Safari for Christmas. One with a textured barrel.

Hello MrMattJarvis I was Just wondering, Do You think that there are some Forms or other Accessories that should be available in all Franklin Planner Sizes?? Such as “Goal Planning Forms,” or “The Progressive Task List,” or The Magnifying Pagefinder only available in Classic currently. or used to be available a long time ago in All sizes, anyway, etc
@@TheRealJVJTR3Y_Plans I believe most items should be available in all sizes and planner filler styles. Bit in reality, I know it comes down to funding and marketing. The “core” planners, like Monticello and Original, are fully supported, the “Gallery” planners like 7 Habits and Carrara less so and the smaller sizes even less. If we keep asking for more selections I think Franklin Planner will listen though.

@@TheRealJVJTR3Y_Plans I think there would be. I don’t think it would be more than some faint, dark lines. I don’t think you’d be able to see words or anything like that.

What is your view on the Satelitte Notebook?? It’s a Pocket size insert that used to have both Lined pages and mini grid squares or graph pages but only has Lines now?? Do You feel that a Pocket size booklet is still applicable for all the other size Planning pages??
@@TheRealJVJTR3Y_Plans Great question. I have used the Satellite before and even got one last year to try out again. I don’t like them. The size is awkward for me. But…I DO need a smaller book to record things in the field. So, I have several Field Notes available just for that reason. One in the car, in my every day carry bag, etc. But to be honest, I rarely use them. It’s the security of having something readily available when my planner isn’t handy.

What do You do with these planner pages when You get done showing them in these videos?? Are You looking to sell these at a slight discount or something?? may be compare the Starter pack set by itself to the one embedded in these planner pages just to see if anything is missing or not??
I am going to do a video here in the near future on just forms. As part of that I will open up a starter pack. But I do know it has the same content as those in the Leadership, 7 Habits, and Sandstone fillers.
