Rebuilding of -91 Bayliner Ciera 2655 Sunbridge
Looks awesome though :)
Was gonna buy a ‘99 as it was a great deal and refit it so it fit our needs, 2nd cabin becomes only cabin, V berth is just a living room, no dining, outside has dining table if need be and BBQ. Would have been kinda awesome, kinda regret not getting it. Woulda saved on chartering costs, kinda, sorta, maybe, hopefully!…
Amazing work and care
Dude, that's some serious sweat-equity! Awesome job, she looks brand new.
Amazing work and materials used
Good work guys it just goes to show if you stick to it it no what it pays off in the end and you get to enjoy the rewards of your efforts
Hello. Congrats. Good work! I have allready renew 3 smaller boats. My next project is also a ciera. You gave me some ideas ;)
Doing the same right now. Bought a 1986 Bayliner Contessa. And the guy before me didn't have a clue. Ripped almost everything out of the interior.
Sounds like you don’t have a clue. People start from the inside out because it’s how you make sure the stringers are good before you dump several grand into freshening the interior or getting it running.
I have the same boat and wanted to know what was the cost to rebuild it this way
Mooi werk 👍
Is there any one done a steering cable on a Bayliner 2255 I need some tips
Nice work
What year is that one?
1991
0:33 where to get those air vents?
I think they were originals.
What a great job. Looks great.
I have an 1987 and it needs help with tilt and trim and with upholstery. Love the boat. Love what you've been able to do with yours. Hope to one day get mine back out on the water.

Very impressive. I have done similar project last year. A lot of time spend on the boat. Good job. What is the black panel material you use for the cabinets/seats?

0:44 engine finished, restoration complete!
HI.. How did you remodel the dashboard, did you make a mould from the origanal and cast in Fibreglass?
Cracking job you did btw, :-) Ive just bought a 91, 2255 and am looking to do it up over the winter
No, I only fixed the old Dashboard (which was badly cracked by the sun) using fiberglass beneath it to make it stronger.
Did you keep the tarp down the whole floor build? Is it necessary to have one? About to gut and restore a 87 2450. Thank you. Looks great btw
Tarp was only there because of Finnish weather conditions 😁
@@mhi4299 thank you so much for the quick response. My family and I are very inspired by your interior restoration. I hope mine turns out like yours :)
Fantastic job well done. Inspiring me to do a project myself 👍
Could you do a walk through of the whole boat pls 😁. Looks amazing
I sold the boat few weeks ago 🙁
Well Done¡¡¡
Well Done¡¡¡
Fantastic job, looks like new. Love these boats, well worth the effort. Enjoy!
Awesome job! I have a 1991 Bayliner Cierra Sunbridge. I have to ask where did you find your switches. My boat horn switch is not working all the time. Any info would be appreciated.
Switches were original. I just painted them.
I’m trying to wire an electric fuel pump and lights to the main fuse box by the control box in front. Anyone have luck wiring stuff from the engine block to the front control box?
We have a 91 2655 and absolutely love it. Put over 1100 miles on her over the last 2 years
What was the total restoration cost!
no new videos? still got it?
Still have the boat but it’s still winter here in Finland and lakes are frozen 😔
Hello, I’m just north of Barrie Ontario. And we bought a 89 Bayliner 2655 Ciera in decent shape. It needs the back bench done, replacement covers on the dash instruments and a bunch of port hole window repairs. Can you let me know where you sourced these parts please?
Hi, I managed to found a good used set of gauges from eBay. Port hole Windows I didn´t found in right size so I replaced them with plexi glass.
Well done
Hi,I need some advice please,I going to buy a bayliner boat just like urs, and it really have some hard work to get done, but that doesn’t matter, what matters is that people keep telling me that indoor motor is not really good to have on a boat,so seems to me that you look like a professional that knows about this Cain of boat, and to be honest they really nice boat, so is true that indoor motor give a lot of problems?
I like that oval cockpit table. Any info or links to it?
Found it on Local marine shop here in Finland.
Looks great, I have got the same Projekt!
Wow!! Truly AMAZING job!!! I just picked up a 2555. This was a inspiration for me !! Thank you for sharing.
Hi how much money did you put to make it look look that
The reason I ask you is someone is selling one for 500.00 and im thinking about it if its worth it
One question for I Don't know anything about boat but I know a good Deal someone is selling a 1989 Bayliner for $500 do you think its worth it for me to take on a project like that the boat is in a nice shape it does need some TLC what do u think
@@AngelPerez-jw1uu for 500$ for sure it´s a good deal
Very nice work!
outstanding work buddy
Great job man! Just inherited one of these, looking forward to starting the project 👉
Sweet boat! You forgot to install custom AC system. I just installed 6000 btu in ours. Sweet rebuild
you did a great job where did you get the deck mat
Search for Eva Foam Teak
@@mhi4299 Have you noticed any staining or durability issues with this decking material?
@@daverohn383 after 2 seasons there are no durability issues but for sure the material gets stains pretty easy. Better to cover everything if you are working with anything containing oil.
@@mhi4299 What about staining from just plain dirt, say dirty shoes, etc...?
@@daverohn383 for sure you have to be carefull but so far I`ve managed to keep it clean and it can be cleaned with water. I donno about using any cleaning chemicals.
