Very clean. I miss this Cynic. We wrote Jason in the early 1990s and he sent us this demo on a green Maxell cassette. I wore it out!

That was spectacular. It also may be one of my two favorite songs by leprous, along with the sky is red, and might be my favorite if it weren't for the production; some of the sounds they include in the song are a bit distracting. I was hoping I might find a cover online, without the sound effects, and yours is amazing. I really enjoy Einar Solberg's voice but occasionally his accent is also distracting; surprisingly, I think I even prefer your vocals. If you were to record this with a studio drummer you'd have created one of the greatest covers of all time.

Hey man I love this cover very much and am trying to learn the song by ear and this video helped me a whole bunch deciphering what they played on the demo. It’s so hard to hear on the demo because of the very gainy sound of it.

The recent Suffocation live album (mixed by Christian Donaldson from Cryptopsy) has a very crisp production (and super tight playing) that you would like, and your mix here reminds me of that tone.
