Got out on the Vedder River in late November to chase some late season salmon. To clarify this video was filmed November 27th, as this year chum fishing closed on December 1st.

Sick vid man, im wondering how high up you were fishing?
pretty high up close-ish to the boundary
Waste of time
yeah not wrong lol
Good fishing for sure was up in Terrace beautiful fishing
You should have brought some more Steelheady presentations, people are already hammering em over there.
yeah not a bad idea but this was filmed late nov, mighta been a little early but ya never know
Hatcheries use brood fish. So there is little genetic loss
yeah great point actually!
What rod is that?
luhr jensen legacy, 10’6 salmon/steelhead
Thumbnail was a smart move
Thot u were gonna lose ur pole at the end there
Think u need a bigger net m8 😂😂😂😂
you're not wrong lol
Blind people listening to this would be wo confused. 😂
god ur right hahahaha
hi there looks like the Harrison river just wondering where you guys where fishing the i have a boat and haven't had much luck on that river if u don't mind sharing
What a fun day! Jealous 😂
Thats sick yo would fly fishing be good in this lake u think?
100% but only problem is it’s tough to find spots with enough room to backcast. there should be a couple areas where you can though, would recommend a sinking line
Sick vid!
New way of paying it forward . 😂
Kids fort
Property owners fishing hang out. The question is why are you there if you are unaware?
because i was fishing and walked by a forest where no one owns property and i am free to explore?
@@ljfishing_ unowned??? Not much of that in the USA anyway. Free to explore yes absolutely with permission. Otherwise I don’t agree. Not that I’m your boss or trying to tell you to leave. Not my land. I’ve seen lots of spots like this on different people’s property’s along the River while canoeing or kayaking.
it’s canada and yes unowned. called crown land. it was endless forest lol no owned property there
Just other kind campers bro the world's bad there's also good . Pay it forward. Leave a place better then you found it .. stuff like that.
The animal that made these tracks is either an elk, a moose, or a deer. It depends on where you live. Moose live in northern areas because of the cool weather. Deer live in a lot of places all over America. Elk usually live in a lot of woods, so it could be an elk, but it's most likely a deer. My husband told me he hunts, so I just say "alright." I'm a fisher myself.lol
yeah little big to be a deer i would think so sounds like it could be moose or elk! thanks!! i’m up in canada, near vancouver
@@ljfishing_ mostl likey elk or deer probsbly elk to small to be moos ik in alaska see a lot of moose hooves up close!
Looks like a hangout spot for Summer. Or even fisherman.
Wow thats clear, btw nice job😊🎉
thank u!
Np, keep up the good posts an ddont give up😊
Nice😊
Nice, beautiful water
Moose, im a hunter😊
thats so cool thanks! was thinking that or elk
Yea, one of the two😊
Nice man! Keep up the good work . I just subscribed and wish to watch your channel grow 🤝🏽
thank you!!
Elk tracks
ahh i was thinking that but didn’t think elk around there at all. thanks
@@ljfishing_ Yes, very large elk herd in the area. @ Canadian Fly Dad has lots of trail cam video of them not too far from where this was filmed.
@@oncorclarki1965 awesome gotta check it out, love his videos
this is so sick man! can't beat coho on the fly
That looks like a blast!🎣 What size fly rod are you using?
thanks! i’m using a 7 weight here but a 6 or an 8 will work too. i’ll use a 6 when i know there’s a low chance of hooking into a big chum
Wtf man😂
hahaha yeah doesn’t look pretty but when that eye goes straight it’s done. rest is all nerves, this one was more twitchy than normal lol
Sick video man, Keep it up!
thank you!!
Good vid bro, subscribed !
appreciate it!!
Do you use a weight that slides or another method??
sliding weight yes
Good vid subscribed
Good job...I like your vibe and lack of annoying music!
hahaha yeah definitely more of a raw footage style for sure, thank you!
Nice shame you lost your footage you made up for it atleast
yeah tell me about it, got stuff coming soon though. thanks!
Cool video, subscribed😊 I’m curious how far you have to walk to avoid the huge crowds flossing. I’m coming down next week for the first time🎣
appreciate it! with the spots i fished there they were honestly just a 5 minute walk in the other direction from more popular spots. there are some where it’s a 20-30 min hike in but secluded spots are definitely tough to find.
Keep it up, nice catches, subscribed:)
What a spot, Beautiful
I think I deserve my own GoPro after that performance
you’re not wrong
Beautiful fish!
Gonna fix the camera angle for my next videos, was wearing the gopro too low on my chest lol
