Namaskaram Swamy! Adiyen listened again this discourses and I have a question connected to Harinee ji’s question. Thiruppavai has 30 pasurams. Did Andal wake up everyone everyday or one person each day? The time 2 AM comes only when she wakes up everyone the same day. Right? Please advise Swamy.
@@jayasriramadass2286 Jai Srimannarayana maami, Andal wrote down pasurams once thinking herself as a gopi in Aayirpadi and they go and wake up all gopis on the same day on their way to Krishna. However, we spend time on understanding one pasuram each day to allow deeper reflection on meaning of each pasuram one day at a time. we have to observe certain niyamams during dhanurmasam and we have to remember perumal during this month because He said in bhagavad gita "maasaanaam maarga shirsho'ham'" - among all the months, I am Margasirsha. So, that month we have to spend meditating on Him everyday. So it has been an ancient practice to remember Lord Krishna and His stories during this month. We therefore recite all 30 on all days but spend one day for each pasuram to meditate more deeply. This is my understanding maami. I have not confirmed from any acharya yet, but clearly they did everything during the same morning on their way to Krishna gathering each gopi.

Jai Srimannarayana 🙏 sir please try to make a video on who is supreme according to "Anushasanika" parva of Mahabharata is" Shiva sahastranamam" is true .In this parva it is mentioned that sudarshan chakra is given by lord Shiva to lord Vishnu and Krishna praying to lord Shiva that he is supreme than bramha, Vishnu and indra.A gain in same parva Sri Vishnu sahastranamam is mentioned where it is told Lord Vishnu is supreme.Iam fully confused in one place Lord Shiva is telling lord Vishnu created him and in other place lord Krishna or worshipping lord Shiva by saying Shiva sahastranam. How to understand it please try to explain it in your next video many people are confused regarding this while reading Mahabharatam. 🙏🙏🙏

Sir please do avideo on who is paratatvam according to "Linga Puranam"and "Shiva Puranam"🙏🙏🙏
Jai Srimannarayana sir please try to make avideo on who is paratatvam according to"Linga Puranam" which is one of 18 mahapuranas written by Vyasa maharshi, and clarify who is paratatvam according Linga Purana and Shiva Purana.adiyen ramanuja dasan 🙏🙏🙏
Jai Srimannarayana. We have noted this. We will respond as we get time.
Jai Srimannarayana. Thank you for raising this question. The original plan was to discuss from all 18 puranas and show Narayana’s Supremacy is everywhere. Since Bhagavatam is considered the mature fruit of the Vedas (nigama kalpa taror galitam phalam), and Bhagavatam had been compiled by Vyasa after compiling all the other Puranas and the Mahabharata, and Bhagavatam was narrated by the sage Suta who has been recognized by the other sages as (tvayA khalu purANAni setihAsAni dharma shAstrANi.. akhyAtAni api adhItAni - someone who is well known to have studied and narrated all the puranas and the itihasas and the dharma shAstras) we had decided that just quoting from this one Purana will serve the purpose of establishing Narayana’s Supremacy based on the Puranas. Linga Purana has the following slokas (and so many more interspersed across several chapters) that demonstrate Narayana’s Supremacy. Ya ekaH puruSHaH ShreSThaH paramAtmA janArdana | yasmAt brahmA tataH sarvaH samAshrityaiva muchyate || He who is the one Purusha, the best of all is the Supreme Self Janardana, from whom Lord Brahma was born, from whom Shiva was born, and from whom, it is said, everything else is born. - clearly, Janardana is established as the jagat karana tattvam including the cause of Lord Brahma and Shiva. Na hi vishNumayA kAchid gatiranyA vidhIyate | ityevaM satataM vedA gAyanti nAtra samshayaH || Indeed, there is no other resort/recourse other than Vishnu, by whom everything (i.e., every other deity) is filled (Vishnu being their inner self). This, the Vedas sing everywhere. Of this, there is no doubt. The above two are quoted by Yamunacharya in his Agama Pramanya and these are the words of sage Markandeya from the Linga Purana. Furthermore, the arumbadam (sub-commentary) of Bhagavad Vishayam commentary to Tiruvayimozhi has the following slokas in the very beginning (avatArika) (also from the Linga/Saiva Purana): VaikunThe tu parE lOkE shrI sahAyO janArdanaH | ubhAbhyAm bhUmi nILAbhyAM sevitaH parameshwaraH || VaikunThe tu parE lOkE shriyA sArtham jagatpatiH AstE vishNur achintyAtmA bhaktair bhAgavatair saHa || wherein Vaikuntha has been established as the Supreme abode, Vishnu, the husband of Sri, Bhu, Nila has been spelled out as Jagat-patih or the lord of the universe and parameshwara (the Supreme controller). And that, he resides with bhaktas, and bhagavatas has been established clearly.
@@HighestYogi thanks for the reply sir many are arguing that lord Shiva is supreme according Shiva and Linga Purana and couting a story in which lord brahma and lord Vishnu are fighting with each other who is greater among them than lord Shiva came in between them as Agni lingam and tested both Vishnu and Brahma. Please try to clarify this in your next video 🙏 Jai Srimannarayana 🙏 adiyen ramanuja dasan 🙏
@@paramavaishnava108 Jai Srimannarayana. I have added one more reference above. First, everything in puranas need not be taken to be authentic. Itihasas are to be taken as authentic to the last word because "Iti+ha+asa" means "this is how it has happened". So, this is real history. Everything told in the Itihasas is to be taken as recorded history - as it is - whether they are happenings, or conversations. Puranas have a different purpose. Pura api navaH - that which is fresh although old is morals/dharmas. They are meant to drive people toward dharmas. The general rule of thumb is that Puranas are taken to their word as long as they agree with what is told in the Itihasas. In Mahabharata, Vyasa makes a declaration - yad ihAsti tad anyatra, yannehAsti na tat kvachit - whatever is in this text alone is elsewhere (in other works), what is not in this, is no where to be found. In other words, if it is a real happening, he should have covered it in Mahabharata. The story you are mentioning has never been alluded to in the entire Mahabharata, to the best of my knowledge. On the other hand, Mahabharata declares Narayana alone to be the Supreme at multiple places and these alone have been quoted by even Shankara Bhagavadpada in his prasthana trayi bhashyas. If we look at the instance where the sage Markandeya meets the Pandavas in the forest and Yudhistira asks about pralaya and Markandeya describes how he existed at the time of pralaya along with one other child on a leaf who swallowed him eventually. He then identifies from the eyes of the person he saw when everything was dissolved and from whom everything came about that that person is none other than Krishna who is innocently roaming about as the cousin of Pandavas. So, clearly, both srushti karaka and pralaya karaka has been identified as Narayana or Krishna but not Shiva. Not just this, but there are many instances in the entire Mahabharata where only Krishna has been identified as the srushti, sthiti, layakAraka and jagat karana tattva. during rAjasUya yAgam bhIshma says “krishNa Eva hi lOkAnAm uthpaththir apichApyayaH” (From Krishna alone the world came about). In the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, when Yudhistira asks who is the one god to be worshipped, Bhishma answers it as Narayana alone. Elsewhere there is another sloka - rudram samAsritAH devAH, rudrO brahmANam AsritA, brahmA mAm Asrito rAjan, nAham kamchit upAsrayAH" - devatas take shelter of Rudra, who, in turn, takes shelter of Brahma, who, in turn, takes shelter of Me - but I do not take shelter of anyone else - declared by Krishna. There are hundreds more references like this - all declaring Narayana alone to be the Supreme. The Tripurasura vadha pastime from the Mahabharata clearly establishes Rudra as someone less powerful than even Brahma. So, there is also mutual support to this idea from other portions of Mahabharata. Now, because this pastime cannot directly be traced, it should be taken only in a secondary sense. The Shiva Purana itself tells what Linga means - Linga represents the combination of prakruti (shakti) and purusha (shiva) - shiva-shaktyOscha chihnasya melanam lingam uchyate (Shiva Purana). These purusha and prakruti are two energies of Narayana. He states this in the 7th and 13th chapters of the Bhagavad Gita. Prakruti (shakti) represents karma and purusha is the jiva. in other words, this combination (linga) which represents the association of jiva with prakruti- this is anAdi - its origin cannot be traced. Even Gaudapada quotes in his Mandukya karikas "anadi mAyayA suptaH" (jiva is associated with mAya or prakruti since time immemorial). This narration of the Shiva Purana is saying that Brahma may be subject to thinking there is an origin because he causes beings to be born (but this is not the truth) (Even Lord Brahma does not think this way). This is using an alankara prakriya to describe AdhyAtmika vishayas. The Veda and the Puranas say Brahma represents the mind. (manah eva brahma, Gopatha Brahmana purva 2.10, uttara 5.4), (tasya (purushasya) manah eva brahma) (kaushitaki 17.7). (mana svarupo brahma me) (Brahma vaivarta purana). The mind which is a result of samsara thinks we have an origin. i.e., a birth i.e., it believes and makes us believe that this birth and this body itself means everything to us. On the other hand, Vishnu who is sarvajnaH, who is the Paramatma within, tells otherwise - this birth is not everything, don't consider this origin of yours to be the origin. You have been associated with prakruti since time immemorial. You have no origin. In other words, he is advocating the avyaya nature of this asvattha vruksha, the tree of samsara described both in the Vedas and in the Bhagavad Gita. He also is the means for cutting it, and separating the association, which is not covered in this alankara prakriya. (mAm eva ye prapadyante mAyAm etAm taranti te - surrendering to Me, Krishna alone, one can overcome this maya). Lord Shiva represents jnAna (jnAna rUpo maheshwaraH says Brahma Vaivarta Purana). Shiva (i.e., our inner conscience) declares that because Brahma i.e., mind is lying, you should trust the Paramatma i.e, Srimannarayana at all times and worship Him alone i.e., listen to the antaryami and not the mind in all avasthas and at all times. In other words, He, the paramatma within the heart, is to be recognized as the ultimate and not the mind. None of this is contradictory to the truth if we look at it this way. Brahma and Vishnu are not like ministers of today to fight for a post. And, like the story of the monkey trying to resolve a cat fight, another being comes in between to declare himself as the supreme. We should not have such a cheap conception of all the three extraordinary beings. So, one should not take things literally because these are from a purana generally meant for tamasic people.
