I’m a one planner person (I plan in it, I journal in it, I decorate it and I track things in it) so I don’t have your struggle. My struggle is choosing the one book I have to use for a whole year 😅 I’ve done well with my A6 Hononochi this year but there are a few things that don’t work for me so for 2025 I’m going with an A6 vertical full year common planner and Im very excited because it doesn’t have any of the hobonichi parts that I dislike plus added stuff that I felt was missing from the A6 Hobonichi. I’m very excited to fill that book up to the brim next year 🥰

Do a few giveaways share them with people you know return them to the company if the company will take them back or keep them so you will know the quality sizing ect ect going forward so you won’t have to worry about how it feels in your hand or paper quality ❤

That is exactly why I don’t buy too many dated planners. I have just 2 dated planners, but lots of undated journals that I can use any year and I don’t have to waste money or beautiful notebooks. I have seen a few people who use the Papertess Designs weekly as their health planners, maybe it will work for you too.

I used PTD for health and wellness and it's absolutely great ! I like to track several things and just the fact of not having to design tables is such a plus ! Good luck !

Really enjoyed listening to you talking and trying to convince yourself of our 2025 picks - so relatable💕 I have 9 total - planners/journals/notebooks and I've convinced myself I need all of them 🫠 I can't help with your dilemma, but like another commenter, I like to use a dated/outdated planner as just a notebook sometimes, especially if I love a design on a Hobonichi that I know would be harder and costlier to get if I want it in the future. Maybe this is too crazy as well, but all your unused 2025 planners can be reused in 2031 if you are worried about waste 🤗 Thanks for sharing your thoughts, best of luck with your 2025 planner picks :)

I have many extra DATED planners but I will use them as regular notebooks to either journal, makes some collections, etc. I will also use them as testing ground for layouts I want to experiment on, ink swatches, etc.

I struggled with planners this year I picked up the wonderland 222 stacked B6 is my catch all this year idk first time using it and I picked up an a6 paperless designs and a 2 book set of a6 at just scribble and a weeks size from the Rosie life planner undated and also an a5 with the Rosie life planner dated this year. Sits so hard to choose so I picked some and home they work if not well I tried I’ll re use them for something or my teen girls will I can re date them thanks for the video I feel you I can’t use them all maybe 4 max but like really only if I do bills in one separate and a memory planner and health planner. And me at home drop all and my a6 with me planner in my bag or car on the go.

I’m glad there’s not really bleeding but the ghosting is so heavy I’m worried it would look weird create issues when writing and highlighting on the back page.

When you read it you may change your mind because he is more a superhero than a villain more like an encouraging character

Thank you for this video. I feel the ghosting looked frightful and would make the next week start with mess instead of a blank page. I’m looking at Hemlock and Oak for 2025.

tomoe river's original brand discontinued their paper 1-3 years ago and then it was bought by another company who have a new version of tomoe river paper that's why the paper is slightly different now. A lot of brands used up the old productions and are finally phasing in the new tomoe river paper.
