People forget that with the RWD you can never upgrade the speed and will be stuck with 4.9 0-60, with the AWD you can always purchase the acceleration boost at any time and go from 4.2 to 3.7 seconds 0-60

I brought my Model Y LR to Republic Speedshop as well. I told Ed what I wanted the car to look like and he took care of the rest! I did full PPF, tints, wheels, suspension, etc. A true one stop shop for any Tesla owner looking to make their cars unique from the rest!

I’ve done this with som not 40$ mounts and they last about 6months before the stick in Tesla screen wears out. Using separate 3m and adhesive promoter got me about 7mths vs 6 without. I think the screen back is just to porous of a metal possibly or just hot sun wrecks it. YMMV but I’m on my second mount that cost 14$ and get a 2yr extension from Amazon and just keep getting new ones every 6mths is my experience

As a valet driver, Tesla are the very most least futuristic cars on the market. You need the key card and the phone to start. It happens to me all the time. Give me the key card walk away and it’ll say it requires the phone.😂 there’s no screen behind the steering wheel no heads up display and they’re generative breaking will guarantee make your passengers nauseous on any drive longer than two minutes. You turn off the generator breaking and your range is gonna be 2 miles total probably way more futuristic and a Toyota Corolla than any Tesla they have and I drive all types of cars every day. I’m pretty sure I would know.

How did you get your seatbelt buckets extended in the back row?

All mudflaps are BAD .. sand/dirt will collect right behind them and the vibration of driving will push it deeper and deeper inside of your wheelcase… you car will rust someday. Better don’t use any mudflaps but ppf on the downside of your car. Because without mudflaps stones will hit your car.

Looks great, but lack of windscreen control is the weakest point for me. Not really interested in using call-bar for controlling things that you do when stationary.
