Any other stage 2 tune is available for SQ8 other than unitronic? So far I have apr stage 1 on my SQ8 and I miss catless downpipes engine sound.

How much did you lower it by on the front and back?

I’m tuning it this Friday with Stage1+ Unitronic. Plus Im I’m using lowering links to recalibrate the system with full inch 25mil in the rear and 3/4 inch 19 mil in the front. But your ride seems like it’s super lowered, and issues with ride quaintly with that little down travel left on the suspension? Did you need an alignment?
@@rimounestifou5885 no issues. I have adjustable air suspension so I can raise and lower at will. It is more rigid in the lowest setting so any time Im on bumpy roads I raise it for a more comfortable ride.
I have air suspension also how did you get it to 20mm all around did you plug it to ecu?
@@aryarashkbar5934 took it to my dealership and told my service manager that I wanted it lowered and they took care of it.
I got a q8 also , I got a res and muffler delete it sounded good but I wanted better .. I got the second muffler deleted it sounded the exact same. If I get a downpipe will it make it sound louder ? And if yes where do I get one I feel like you can barely find anything for these q8s also is there anyway I can just get a burble tune on one of these ?
@@Reallydiorrr do you have a q8 or sq8? If it’s a sq8, IE makes a tune that has burbles and is a great improvement over stock BUT if you want Downpipes their tune won’t work. Unitronic Stage II tune has burbles but not as much as IE. Downpipes definitely made my car louder.
So if I get downpipes I won’t be able to get a burble tune ? And I have a regular q8

@@Reallydiorrr Integrated Engineering. The q8 has a different engine and I am not familiar with the aftermarket offerings. Go join the Audiworld forum and read up on q8 options. That’s the best place to start.
I just bought a 2024 in the same color two months ago. Crazy you just posted this video because I’ve been looking forever, I just put a deposit on Unitronic Stage 1+ 93octane and lowering links and brake pads at the shop today. Im just doing the tune, performance air filter, lowering links, and brake pads. How do you like the tune? Tell me about how you lowered the car and by how much? Also what wheel and tire set up is that? Beautiful car, congrats!
Thank you! Love the tune so far but I've only had it for 3 days. Had an IE Stage I 93 octane tune on it for a year but had to change it since their tune doesn't support the downpipes. I also just put new Dynamic Friction ceramic brake pads on because the stock ones had me dusty 24/7. I have the air suspension and had it lowered 20mm all the way around. Please check the description for tire/wheel set up. Congrats on your new ride-sure you'll love the tune!!
Double check that Unitronic can crack the ECU. They told me they couldn’t a month ago.

Thought about it but e85 is scarce around here. Do you have an sq8/rsq8? You e85 tuned?
@@DatDudeTrav Just bought a '21 SQ8 (20k miles). When warranty is up, I plan to tune IE Stage 1 E85. I live in SoCal, plenty of stations. How did you lower?
@@JeffPieri congrats! I’ve built a relationship with my Service Manager and her and her staff are also enthusiast so I told them my plans for the car. I have the air suspension and mentioned I’d like to go a little lower so they reprogramed my settings dropping 20mm all around. Make sure you join the two major audi message boards-Audizine and Audi World as well as the rsq8/sq8 facebook page. Tons of great info on those!
Your outer lips peeling does like installer didnt place a plastic lips while mounting tires. I only have 2 months and my fr3 are peeling from the inside of lips. Lets hope they honor painting defects.

Damn, i was dead set on getting the Ferrada cm1. They are beautiful rims. But i saw a video of them prepping wheels to be shipped and noticed they used a machine tool to press a plastic chrome film on the outer rim. It looked cheap so i did some research and sure enough that same piece is chipping in customer reviews. Thanks to you and other unfortunate customers who confirmed my suspicions, I've decided against it. So sad because they make nice looking wheels. They're cheaper than other similar designs, but they are still expensive. You'd think they'd know to use more reliable materials than flimsy color plated plastic. Im not in the business of manufacturing aftermarket wheels but even I know something like that won't last long.

I have an SQ8 and I just ordered the IE tune. Pumped!! What’s the “sport exhaust”? Was that a stock option that my car has or doesn’t have and I need to check? Or do mean that you added a new catback exhaust? Thanks for the video too, sounds amazing! ❤
Yes, the sport exhaust is an option and the IE tune has the burbles when you put the car in sport mode. I hope you enjoy the tune! I’ve had it for about 4 months and roughly 2500 miles and not a single issue. Much better throttle response and the car pulls and just keeps pulling!

@@sabinoguzman7780 go to the Integrated Engineering site and find an authorized dealer. My wheels are stock but I’m about to order new ones from audiocityusa. Look them up!

I'm glad I did my research because I've been looking for wheels for my 300c, the concave design looks really good, too bad the quality just isn't there. Saved me a few thousand dollar headache. Sad to see because finding nicely designed wheels that won't set me back like 4 grand seems pretty hard so far.

I bought a set and installed, they made a weird noise as soon as I put them on. Now my wheels are peeling as well. I reached out, they gave me the run around, then ignored me.

Thank god I found your video my paint peeling too and there's no damage. Emailed ferrada and they said I hit road debris. I only had these rims for 5 months

I bought the FR2’s and they did the same thing. You’re right about them being clowns. Did the same thing to me. What a joke of a company.
Just got the fr4s and seen this! Apart from trying to get Ferrada to fix there shit Can you not get them repaired from a wheel shop ? Or is it like like a chrome lip that’s pressed onto the alloy ? I tried messaging them but no surprise didn’t get an answer
They wouldn't fix it and I tried to have them served with a small claim but they kept dodging. Decided to move on. I touch them up with plasti-dip and will keep doing so until it gets too bad.
Appreciate you sharing this, I'm shopping shoes for my new ride, and I'd never heard of Ferrada until recently, then I found this review, and others, saying the same thing, their quality sucks, and their customer service SUCKS MORE! I hope you got yours in court, this is unacceptable. Again, thanks for getting this out there. Hopefully nobody else buys their trash, I know I won't.

I wish I would have known this back in June. I have the Black/Bronze on my 2010 Camaro SS. They look sharp on the car, but just noticed while installing lowering springs (front) that the black was peeling and then over the weekend (doing rear springs) noticed the black paint/powder coating is peeling on one of the rear wheels. I contacted the company I bought them from and within 3 days Ferrada sent me another wheel, I hope they send me another one; but who knows. I may just take them and get them blasted and powder-coated the right way. They look to sharp to get rid off , everyone loves them on the car...

Sean Lem all good! Since this video I’ve put meth on it! Pretty much done at this point though. Could get more out of it with a cam and bigger injectors but don’t think I want to put any more money into it!

From what I'm gathering they are manufactured in Taiwan and they are supposedly designed in California but I think it's just some middlemen in between a cheap Taiwanese manufacturer
wheels are only manufactured in like 4-5 factories , taiwan, china, and singapore makes wheels.

My FR2’s look so good on my WRX but I had the same issue with the paint on the lip peeling off. Called the company up and they could care less.

I was going to get some as well the fr2’s!! Thanks for the tip, that sucks man hope they do take of you but they lost a customer. If I’m spending money I don’t want a headache
