My dads 2020 escape automatically does that. I had no idea there was a button for it. Its on even when it says its off. Super annoying in slow traffic, i cant just let off the brake to creep forward, I HAVE TO PRESS THE GAS. I used to love fords but many quirks on this car has turned me off. Fuck ford.

I mean or you could just keep holding the brake down like we have been doing for decades. It seems really effective. We don’t need all this shit. If you are gonna drive the car, drive it. If you don’t wanna drive it, call an Uber

Is this really 2020 Ford Escape? I've driven one and don't remember such a stellar dashboard visuals. One of my favorites was the blue pulsating circle surrounding the digital speedometer!

As a tow driver I will never buy a new car they are way to reliant on electrical gizmos and no manual backups so when something as simple as a dead battery happens God save your soul trying to unlock the vehicles never mind if it need to be towed engineers need to take their heads out of their butts.
