St. George's Anglican Church Guelph
Канада
Добавлен 2 апр 2020
The city of Guelph was little more than a collection of houses and cow pastures when St. George's Church first opened its doors on St. George's Square. For more than 185 years, we have been making Jesus known in Guelph. Our traditional worship in a beautiful building with stained glass and a majestic Casavant organ launches us into serving our community. We love Guelph, and we're here for the long haul. Come join us!

Sarah has such an angelic voice❤
Нельзя так скрипично ужасно лажать
Congratulations from Thailand Victor and Belinda!!! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Beautiful Evensong. Really enjoyed listening. Jeff has done a wonderful job with the choir, and his organ-playing is superb. Thank you! Heather and John, Calgary.
Sound comes on about @12:30
I love the country song sung by the group Alabama, Angels Among Us.
Very nice change on the indigenous acknowledgment
Sending my love, heart and prayers always. Judian Cooney Sag Harbor NY 11963
Another down to earth sermon that makes the Bible readings realistic and in touch with our times, not just ancient history. A wonderful service of priase, thanksgiving and learning. How welcoming to be able to "attend" the service through video, despite being thousands of miles away. Thank you St. George's.
As always, another WOW sermon. What a wonderful place to be on Sunday morning.
I was exploring an I’m a catholic an this is interesting!
Victor, Awesome visuals in your homily!!! You sound abit like Robert Munsch. (lol) You give a whole new meaning to the word "roadmap" for me Thank you. Lorraine
Victor, Your homily inspired me to continue my story and support Brad with his. Thank you
very wonderful sermon
Thank you so much for this being uploaded Hazel was my teacher in junior school in the UK. She was an exchange teacher during this period of time. She was incredibly influential in my life, as well as other students of the school. She suspected I had dyslexia during the 1970s. This was very infancy of support in the school system in the UK so basically I change my life she was beloved by the students. One of the irony is is we have a mab Lane, Junior, and infants Facebook group, who were students on the Hazel one of the members to the search for Her Ali came up with the video this was on Tuesday day of the funeral. We are all incredibly grateful for this video to be up and the impact and love Hazel had in our lives.
We apologize for our technical difficulties this morning. We are working to figure out why the livestream ended suddenly. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to get it working again this morning. Again, our apologies.
Thrilled to see this. Evensong is wonderful.
I still follow your services even though you now serve Saint George’s and no longer Holy Saviour Waterloo . God bless you always
Amen 🙏 🙌 ❤
Rest in paradise Gordon. You will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and all who knew him.
Lovely sermon. Can't wait to come home. Hope there will be a BCP service using the real altar like this for Easter. Merry Christmas ❤
Beautiful service. So glad to be able to share in it from Calgary. Merry Christmas to all our friends at St Georges’. Heather and John P.
Jeff Enns is an amazing "church" organist! He likely composed the anthem for his choir. Bravo, Jeff!
I was in France this week and this was the only way i could participate. I appreciate that it was available. Shaun Scott
Thank you!
Thankyou!
The Morris Promise
Wonderful service. God bless.
thank you for your beautiful words!
Lovely soloist. A beautiful addition to the service. Well done!
...your steady volume was admirable...your ears were charming...the strength of the moment, thrilling
Thank you from Brazil!
thank you
Thank you
I was so happy to see the altar being used, I made it a point to return in person, but now this again.
🙏
Perfectly good pulpit, beautiful altar behind you, yet using a music stand and a table. Isn't that vanity?
Just happened upon the lovely carillon tribute to HRH Prince Philip. V and P Russell
Love it!!!
I'm begging you, finally take down the risers, use the high altar, keep using the pulpit. Use the BCP and sing the chants for the choral Eucharist. Tom Green filled this church and there's a reason for that. Preach the gospel without apology or fear, Anglicanism means common prayer and tradition, entering any Anglican church in the world and finding home. I haven't seen those marble stairs in years. A memorial service for our beloved late Sovereign Lady the Queen next Sunday with the most beautiful church in Ontario restored to its full glory would really be a wonderful thing. I'm a young person and the liturgy speaks to me. Truth speaks. I've felt an increasing encroach of non-committal platitudes in place of faith and liturgy. A change of leadership at Saint George's could be a chance for renewal. Also, regular bagpipes would be great. We can fit a pipe band behind the choir. Something to consider. (Joke. Mostly.)
No, they're going to permanently deface the church by replacing the risers with a permanent platform. Why have a nave and a chancel, should just tear it down and move to a cinderblock whitewashed box.
Thank you for this lovely service.
Peace be with you .
Good morning

Still not open for worship?
Great sermon, though. Compassion and forgiveness remain radical, and should be preached uncompromisingly. Society always wants to focus on punitive measures and tends to be unwilling to empathise, but we must always empathise, even with the very worst of sinners. There is no one beyond redemption or outside the love of God.
A beautiful church, but you refuse to use the altar or the pulpit and cover the marble stairs in ugly risers for some unfathomable reason. It's been years.
Very nice indeed!
Well done Uncle Bob and Mr Hamilton! :)
Thank you for your prayers for our Family this morning. Our Daughter, Brenna who is living in Gabon also says thank you.
