Hey! Also late to the party, but I just wanted to add that I've seen Commander Drafts where they allow to partner any 2 commanders as long as both are monocolored. This is also another way to encourage monocolor commander picking (although that may still lead to dual color decks instead of monocolor with a splash, I don't know if that's alright by you) Also it sounds that your Cube doesn't need it, but for people who you mention tend to ask if you draft your Commanders separately, there's also the option to allow to pick up to 2 copies of Prismatic Piper or Faceless One after the draft if someone ends up with no card they want to play as their commander

1:29:00 Nice to face off against Sam; didn’t realize who I was playing against until I saw the game loss screen. I was also going for a Roots/Chalk Outline deck but it didn’t quite have the perfect build. Kaya has never looked scarier.

Insane first deck! Might be new players not valuing removal, but when you're in 5 colors you do get a lot of removal options! The cheap plays are super important, I'm sure a lot of people will overvalue the 4+ mana morph cards when trying to do Case / Niv nonsense. I had a very bad 5c deck and I think that's why - I was basically playing 3-mana 2/2s the whole game.

Format is just out and you’re picking cards like it’s your hundredth draft. Slow down and hover over the cards for a moment plz or at least say what they do.

Enjoyed the video. I have done commander drafts with a few cubes now, both 4x15 and 3x20. Have preferred 3x20 1 pick at a time but interested in 2/pick, good points on signals/speed. Update your cube cobra overview?

Why do you have many cards that exile your own cards while you keep stating that exiling cards from your own deck is bad? Seems kind of trappy for new players.
