One of the joys in life is working with a well made tool that will last a lifetime and save/make you money. I do a wide variety of tool reviews such as SK, Proto, Snap-on, Gearwrench, Knipex, Channellock, Klein, Wilton, Yost, and much more. With that being said, please enjoy the videos, and feel free to comment and send me feedback.

GOOD CHOICE! I HAVE ONE ALSO. I GOT THE PURPLE JACK. WORKS REALLY WELL. ONE TON TRUCKS LOADED GETS RAISED UP IN THE AIR WITHOUT ANY HESITATION. REPLACED AN OLD ONE THAT STILL WORKS BUT NOW ITS A SPARE.
Yes for 33
Those two squares should even be next to each other
Question: I noticed that the base on your Wilton vise is the same as mine (different model). And I am wondering if some instructions or logic of your own, lead you to mount the 2 (widest apart) holes at the very edge of your bench? Rather than the other way around, which would be to have the 2 (narrowest apart) holes mounted at the very edge of the bench. I am also using lag bolts on 2 of the holes, so we have that in common too. nice video!
It was a combination of the logic and instructions from Wilton. It made sense to have the wider part of the base underneath where more of the work/stress takes place. And, Wilton’s vise template shows the wider side on the edge of the bench/table that your mounting it to.
Proud owner of 2 10 inch. Best locking pliers in the market!
Got the same thing in same color for 40% off. First floor jack. $175
Really wanted to get it but I already have a 3yr old 3ton low profile daytona, the cheaper one, and its been doing fine. U can service ur old pittsburgh too, its just as convenient as the daytona having those grease fittings.
I bought the same jack in the same color. I was like you and waited for the right price. At 40% off it was a steal. Great Video!!!
Knipex make fully forged snap ring pliers including tips, but the set you have are fully forged *except* the tips which are spring steel Those knipex tips should in theory be superior to the snap on ones
That's a nice jack Tim and how much was it? The color is nice too...
$175. That was the best price I’ve ever seen on that jack.
These tools are coveted more and more as time goes on, especially the originals. The condition of these wrenches and tools also varies wildly, so being able to complete a set in decent shape is not an easy task.
I have a old sk Wayne box wish I could send you a picture
I know im just some young punk but i can tell you from experience that your boots will last alot longer if you oil and polish them every now and then. Keeps the leather from cracking where the toe bends
Love the SK USA Tools! Thanks for sharing so far they still have USA tools in stock on their website they may just keep selling them time will tell.
Wright and Williams both make good ratchets and made in 🇺🇸.
I have a 1/4 and a 3/8 Locking Flex Snap on with comfort grip. I don’t use them either. Just just too freaking nice lol I do use the original hard handle snap on though
Hey Tim, long time so see and that is a nice setup you have there...
I've been using the 20 inch for over 5 years n it's held up pretty fine think I'll get the 16 just for moving around...good quality bag
I like the Westly but they only go up 6mm- 22mm on the 3/8"
That is one good looking toolbox, I have liked those since they came out. Whatever blue anodizing they use is perfect with the satin/flat black main color of the box.
Those platinum blue handles.....😍
You have quite the collection of SK. It's a shame that they were sold to China. They claim that some tools will continue to be made in the US but I have my doubts. Sets that are advertised as made in the US appear to have China made tools as fill ins. It's as if they are making sets of left over individual stock and filling in the missing units with the Chinese stuff.
Nice!
Who makes Montezuma tool boxes?
They are based out of Kansas. And they have good customer service. I’m not sure where the toolbox is made (my guess would be China).
He’s back!
thanks for the good photos and clear info--this tool was like getting a mystery tool, there isn't any directions for removing the shaft or setting the bits into the sharft, but your pix made that more clear, I appreciate that!
Thanks to you. I got my chuck off in less than two minutes. But with a different procedure thou. 1/4 hex impact driver to 1/2 socket to allen wrench adapter got it right out. Then the biggest allen wrench plus a 3/4 pvc pipe as a cheater bar. Got it right out. 2 minutes done. :-)
That design of those craftsman ratchets always sucked
I am one of the idiots that actually soldered the pipe together for my cooler/trap. Thanks for this video, you have a really nice setup!
Ur turning the vamplier the wrong way do a real test u don’t know what ur doing knipex and vampliers are the best good luck
If I ever need advice on pliers or adjustable wrenches, I'll be back.
if you are tryin to decide what one to get... i just got the 5" and am wondering if I should have got the 6... 4 would have been crazy. for EDC at least.
Thanks for the tip on Zoro
Thanks for not showing how to remove it.
I'm.. pretty shure you just fell in love with the Montezuma box cause of the color😉
Good video, including how to double check with multimeter would of been great
Thanks for the feed back.
Please make a better video. You're zoomed in 100% of the time.
Thanks for making the video! Tool to use depends on the task. 6pt is preferred but also have 12pt sets for limited access areas.
Would you recommend the wall mounted panels over just shelving? Looking to something like this
Yes, I would recommend this setup over shelving.
I have one. Same thing. Though I think it’s made worse due to the super short length of the switching lever. Otherwise I actually like the ratchet. Oh also, it’s weird how the tail end is fatter than the upper portion of the handle. And yeah, the green would have been nice though unsure how well it would have lasted.
That's exactly the reason I sold my 3 new snap on Ratchets. At $100-150, that perfection is out the door once you Starr heavy wrenching with them on projects. They are pretty hand tools when new. And I just can't see using them like you would a cheap trashy wrenching you can just toss or set aside on the work bench or on the ground picking up dirt and scratch scuffing. The cheap decent tools will do the same thing as a tool that you over paid 20x.
Thanks for the vid. Was trying to install a vise on my Milwaukee work bench
Hi what is the size of the hex bit?
1/4 inch drive
@@timsworkshop85 i mean can u tell me what the sizes of each hex in sae? Thank you
I have one of these drawer boxes for metric drills in my workshop. It was exactly what I was looking for. Since I couldn't find anything comparable, I gritted my teeth and bought it. Shipping and customs and import duties to Europe cost almost as much as the drawer box itself. But what do we want? I have no regrets.
Morsete, fire cositorite, suruburi strânse până "curge apa din ele". Așa se procedează la examenele pe care le frecventați ?
Where did you buy this at and what did it cost?
Very,nice!!!HEMI is absolute!!!😀😀😀👍👍👍
I have my student discount but went with mac tools 123 piece ratcheting screwdriver set and with my discount i payed less then $90 for it
If I could only have one of those I’d go with the Cobra ones😂…. Followed by them Channel Lock needle nose you showed us😂😂😂 Point is those hand tools are for the guys (like me) with 20 different other pairs
I can't decide.. non-locking has a solid anvil and is stronger... but quick-release will lock onto a stuck socket and you can use a hammer to knock against the ratchet and remove trapped sockets.. and one handed easy socket change is a plus...
