OBK wasnt bad, i mean, yes some scenes were quite dumb and made no sense, but all in all it was OK, it wasnt the best show, but still better than BoBF, in my case i liked it more than Ahsoka tbh.

It sucks that he’s got to be so careful about what he says about Disney content. But ai understand his position and wouldn’t want him not being involved in their version of “based on” Star Wars.

I would have loved if the fight between obi wan and vader went differently. I wish during the fight, Obi Wan is trying to get through to Vader. Obi: "Anakin! Anakin!? Anakin!??" Vader, silent as a machine, swings more aggressively with each strike

I don't agree about Reva's storyline being satisfying, she decided to kill a bunch of people for no reason to do a "good thing", it was really stupid.

how come sam thinks it's good that obi wan's uncertainty and self doubt makes him a good person but thinks poorly of Luke when he has those same emotions and feeling in the sequel trilogy? i'm not arguing for or against either idea I'm just unsure of his hypocrisy here.

The bit about the force ghosts becoming more real as luke progresses his training is amazing. I would love to meet sam and just talk about star wars at a philisophical level

I agree with what Sam is saying about Vader/Anakin and Obi-Wan.. But I’m sorry, I do NOT agree with the whole Reva thing. Reva was easily, EASILY the worst aspect of that show. And Disney are there dumbing down lightsabers again. Because Disney doesn’t understand lightsabers or the way they work.. Plus, the whole Reva storyline was Kathleen Kennedy and Disney pushing their dumb female empowerment and toxic feminism agenda again. I mean, c’mon! Reva gets impaled with a lightsaber TWICE and still survives. Qui-Gon got impaled once and died. So I reiterate, Disney & (current) Lucasfilm don’t understand lightsabers. Then they’re upto their old tricks again with the Ahsoka show (namely, Sabine surviving). It’s Disney’fied garbage.

Sam could save this universe

I love Sam and I always agree with his takes but this time I have to disagree. This show did so much damage for me that the few little moments where the show was great made me feel numb. I can't get over how bad a character Reva was, every time I saw her I got even more disconnected with the show until in the Final I got downright furious over how the story went and contradicts so much. Not even mentioning the plot holes.

I didn't know force reach was a power

I knew that Vader was twisting the knife in that last battle. Fully consumed with hatred and anger. It wasn’t until he came to grips with his own offspring that he ever entertained the thought of redemption. Anakin wasn’t present. Vader was disgusted that Obi-Wan could have possibly taken credit for the decisions made. “I did” with a smirk says all you need to know. Anakin doesn’t appear again until the end of TESB. Everything between that is pure Vader

I use to dig this mans point of view. He's a phenomenal actor and he has an insane SW mind. His take on this show is garbage though. The mental gymnastics taken to square it as being good is crazy.

Kenobi show was a drop dead horrible show. It was such a disappointment. I was really excited about it and it fell short so hard.

The inquisitors were unforgivably bad in this show

The Force ghost thing is one of the few Star Wars related things that I disagree with Sam on. I agree that it somewhat relies on the person who the ghost is trying to speak to but I feel like it also slightly cheapens the training it requires to become a Force ghost because you can partially complete it now and still get the full benefits of it. Normally I’d just treat it as a nitpick but now that I’ve seen how lightsaber wounds are treated and in comparison with the past, I can see how much of a slippery slope these things can become. The process of becoming a Force Ghost is a very taxing procedure where you have to have the sentience to rip yourself from your euphoric mesh with the force, which in itself is a very painful process. Then you have to pick where you what time period and location you want to appear in while also building a physical form capable of being seen in the material world. That’s the reason the training is so important, to prepare you for what’s to come. If no one calls it out, how long will it be before the training is no longer required to become a Force Ghost?

A “dyad” in the Force? Palpatine becoming all the Sith and Rey becoming all the Jedi? Kylo hallucinating his own father so they could get Harrison Ford back one last time? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Kenobi was a total insult to the fans

Kenobi killed what was left of Star Wars and Vader’s villainous dignity. It’s forever dead now because a toddler outruns grown ass men and somehow forgets she met Obi Wan. Garbage.

All the usual “Disney bad” suspects are the ones ignoring this clip.

I did enjoy Kenobi, and unlike many, I've enjoyed all the shows. They aren't perfect, sure, but they aren't even close to as bad as the new trilogy. They have issues, but those issues have more to do with how the shows were done, than it is characters and stuff. Book of Boba I can understand more, because Boba did change, but it made sense for me, and its hard to make Boba a villian now, he's just way to over with the fans. People love him. Kenobi also had things I didn't like, mainly Reeva, the inquisitor. Her motivations felt super flip floppy to me. She hates kenobi because he didn't stop anakin.. so she works with anakin to hunt him down? what? then later kenobi leaves reeva and vader, they fight, reeva is left dying aaaaanndd..... she SOMEHOW gets to tattooine first? was old ben searching for hookers in the depths of Coruscant for a week? That totally brought me out of the show and made me laugh and say "wtf"

At the end there when he talked about Qui-Gon not appearing to Luke because "he's never met the guy" I was expecting someone would jump onto that statement to say "then what about when Lucas replaced Sebastian Shaw with Hayden?" I would have liked to hear Sam's response to that.

Reva's story was too flushed out. There was very little to her story but they kept focusing on her which just wasted time and weakened the story.
