Thanks
Thank you for watching!
great
Thanks a lot!
Thank you
great video, for me i like the figma ui , i have question is if i put in my portfolio 5 case study and 3D interactive responsive 5 website is going to land me my first remote job??
Glad you liked the video! I have a few thoughts about your question: 1. Having case studies in different areas may throw the recruiter off. The closer you are to the type of company you want to work at, the better! Eg: if you want to work in finance, try adding projects in that scenario. 2. Quantity is important (I recommend at least 3 case studies), but make sure the quality is high, and that they reflect the type of work you want to do. 3. The portfolio alone won’t land you the job. You need to apply consistently, being mindful of each application, and networking with people online. I wish you the best of luck. If you want to chat more, send me a message on LinkedIn or X. I can give you more feedback there 🤍
@@debbittencourt thanks but what type of ui ux design company they are available in usa
@@amgamerpro6545 There are quite a few opportunities across most industries, so you can find a good number in one that you like to apply for. I suggest using SkipTheDrive or Builtin to find open roles
Waiting for part 2. Additionally, Deborah, can you provide a real-time example of how you would approach a design project from scratch to visual design? A step-by-step example would be highly informative! :-)
I will make sure to bring part 2 in the upcoming months. About your request, 100%! Is there an specific industry or type of product you'd like me to focus on? I think this can become a series, as the entire process can be quite long and detailed. What do you think?
Thank you so much for the great content!
Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you found it helpful!
Also we want part 2 of this video and if possible do add more examples
Well noted. Will bring another one in the upcoming months 🫡
I am designing an app rn , i will keep all these in mind. Thanks for a good video. These are really helpful as a beginner product designer. Thanks.

You can definitely wait for a video each week ⚡ Thanks for the support!
@@debbittencourt okay Keep Going
I would like to see how that AI prototype feature will work in real life settings. Seems like recopy for disaster. The AI engine can't know what I'm planning to do with all the nitty gritty elements in a very advanced pattern cross alot of unique frames - and letting Figma train their models on the company contents is a 100% NO can do. Automation features however is something else, suggested autolayout carries some potential. Layer naming seems a bit sketchy, not just cause of language barriers but because it demands some very contextual knowledge.
Flides! Flides! Flides!
Yessssssss
I was waiting for this video! ❤
please pin my comment thank you ❤️
this new ai update will replace beginners from their jobs?
nah, it’ll give them superpowers and help them be a lot more helpful to developers:)
@@jifuniversal7653 really? so that gonna help me to build power full portfolio
@@jifuniversal7653 so this new ai update will help me to build power full portfolio?
I can’t be 100% sure of how the industry will be, but I believe beginners will be required to develop product sense, vision, and strategy earlier on, which are expected skills at more senior levels at the moment. Given that AI will be able to design pixel-perfect UI in a single click, it will be more about proving your process and that your work is bringing impact. During Config, they said over and over again that the power is in your craft and I see this as being mindful about our decisions.
Thanks for this video
You’re so welcome!!

Can you make an interactive figma website video
Sure! Do you mean sharing a prototype that sort of works as a website, so the viewer can interact with is as a regular website?
@@debbittencourt yes
Nice tips! Always learning something new. 3:01 that slack sound trolled me hahahha
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! And as for the slack sound... 🤭 Haha
I am DEFINITELY interested in a video dedicated to choosing colors for UX/UI design! 🙏
Coming soon!
My biggest challenge is finding early users to interview. How do you find your interview participants ?
Hi Jordan. There are two ways I go about this: 1. Noo/low budget, but you have time to spend: find Facebook and/or LinkedIn groups in the industry and recruit there. You can share a survey (people are more likely to answer those, and then you reach out via email to know if they'd be interested in helping more). 2. Some budget and want to optimize time: use UserZoom or Maze to find a network of test users.
Plase make a video on figma variable in detail 🙏
Sure, I will. Thinking of making a series out of it 🎯 I plan on posting it in July, as we might have new updates with Config happening this month. Stay tuned!
Hi, I got your video recommendation from my feed and I watched some of your videos well I just wanted to say that you are like making videos for basic knowledge but you're rushing and if you wanted to target junior or amateur designers they won't get attracted or understand these videos. You should make your videos like a minimum of 15-20 minutes and also try to do your explanation in the application you are using.
Hey Kartik, I see your point. At the moment, my audience is not as new to the field, but you definitely gave me some food for thought. Highly appreciate it!
@@debbittencourt Well it's good to see someone taking suggestions positively not everyone can do that... Keep up the good work and you will succeed your goals.
