EVERYONE!!!! YOU DONT CHANGE THE COLOR ON THE CONTROLLER!!! You change them in Serato and you have to choose a color for EVERY single damn song for it to be displayed on the controller!!!!. Make sure you are USB connected to your laptop, Serato open and then do the steps in the video just like it told you by turning it on while holding the shift and play button on the left side and keep holding it until boot up is done. Once it looks like it's done booting up, you can stop holding down the shift & play buttons and now focus on the 3 FX buttons on the top right side of the deck which now one of the FX buttons should be lit up (IGNORE THE LEFT SIDE OF THE DECK). Basically FX1 is standard Red/Orange; FX2 is Blue (On Vinyl Mode it turns White) BUT FX3 is White by default but lets you choose a color in Serato. So go ahead and choose the FX button option you want then turn off the controller and then turn it back on again normally. Your selection will be applied. For FX3, keep reading. Now in Serato, next to your library on the left you have 2 columns (Not in your Crates! You've gone too far; it's the columns in between your crates and library). The column on the left will show if it's a video, locked or a "?" if the track isn't found, etc. To the right of that it looks like its a bar separating the information I just described and your library of songs, but that is where you choose the color! RIGHT CLICK ON IT AND THAT LITTLE PANEL OF COLORS WILL POP UP. Choose the color, load up the track and your jog wheel should now be that color. Have fun doing that for your entire library. Sorry for the caps and the long explanation but I was having a hard time too with this until I finally figured it out and I wanna help you guys!!! Hope that explains it.
