THE STORY:
Michael Bloomstein wants to sell the script of his life story to a major Hollywood studio. The only problem is that he’s never been to Hollywood ... his life is uneventful ... and he has no connections or money.
What he does have is an unyielding self-belief, and a willingness to do anything to succeed. As he chases his goal of becoming a famous screenwriter, Michael will see the highs and lows of Hollywood -- and question if he really has what it takes to make it.
Like a cross between Ricky Gervais, Larry David, and Sacha Baron Cohen, Bloomywood is a series of micro mockumentaries using real people on the street, sketch comedy, and improv to reveal the absurd realities of being a screenwriter in Hollywood.
