I'm from London UK and I spent some time in Benton in the mid 90s. Great town and was taken to a Honky Tonk one night by a girl who lived on Hurricane Shores.

My daddy, worked down there at the sawmill, down at the planer mill for an old man named Dixon. Ol' Man Dixon was a very cruel feller, didn't treat his employees very well. Didn't pay'em too much of a wage, didn't pay my daddy too much of a wage.

Growth is not always good, take my word for it from California....Growth brings traffic jams, pollution, crime, drugs homelessness, ghettos, inflated housing prices, high taxes. A little town like Benton is a sitting duck for busloads of hundreds of illegals to be dropped-off courtesy JOE BIDEN. Be careful what you wish for. You got it good already. Go see Los Angeles or Riverside or San Jose California, then think about it.

The USA owns Benton, Arkansas. Arkansas is a USA state, by the citizens are friendly, and saline county once fought for it in the 1800's. Saline is named saline County, also in Arkansas, USA. There is a nearby river, the Arkansas River. People can move here, and be safe! Benton, Arkansas is a friendly place, that has probably never had kills. There is lots of buildings, and there was probably never and school shootings are very rare, and probably never happened. Edit: wow 2 likes?? lets go

I love the "Look" of the presentation and the narration. My two concerns are A)the amount of "underground" work-SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASING COST-my BIG concern and B) the "departure" to route through Town Center/Park Plaza/ADH area, again due to COST. We at the Metropolitan Area Transit Consortium have a REMARKABLY similar plan that is being rolled out on our f/b page. Ours, however, calls for straight-down-the-median routing to reduce cost by using already-taxpayer-owned land vs. eminent domain

Great project concept, nice work! Consider taking a look at Swift Tram as an alternative mode for this project. It's an electrically powered, elevated fixed guideway system available 24/7 -- an automated people mover that costs considerably less than light rail. You could save the expense of some or all of the tunneling, and open up the streetcar portion as a mall where walking, bicycling, and open-air activities could flourish -- creating a great community gathering area.

While a monorail is a great idea, I'm not sure how this would effect the CAT system or be any better than the buses that already travel to these locations and others. I would like to see information that addresses this as I see the travelers being the same population segment. I don't believe this will change the traffic pattern for any commuters unless it could be extended to Benton, Cabot, and Conway.
