Channel mostly containing my motorcycle track day videos, experiences, etc...
To keep things in perspective, I started my track day experience "early" in August 2019 at 48 years of age. If I can go trackin', so can you, so forget the excuses and let's go ride!! :)
I'm also not a professional racer so please don't expect that type of content, this is geared towards the everyday track day junkie like myself.

Almost all the famous people are in this video!! :) Not really sure why I didn't hit 2nd gear coming into 10A on my fast lap like I normally do, causing me to run slightly wide and get a bad drive out of 10B?? So there's obviously some easy time to be had. Also, need to take out some excessive coasting! Next time...

Pulled off the win in A Superstock Novice at my first WERA Grand National Finals at Barber Motorsports Park. Thanks to all my awesome competitors this year, great group of guys!! Wasn't a perfect ride but improved my PB by A LOT over the weekend!!

@@mctrackpack7410 Holy shit man! I just turned 30 and did my first ever track day last weekend, I feel like I arrived too late to this game. Thanks for showing me that I'm completely wrong! You can always push to reach your full potential no matter how many people of younger years flood the sport. Age is just a number, it's just hard to remember that when they call people like MM93 "old" in MotoGP.

Thanks! Didn't get flowing good with traffic until the last (4th) lap. Ran some different gearing and could not decide on my gear shifts from T4 at the top of the hill through T5. But I'm working on it...

Great riding I was trying to catch y'all but I was super tired from riding the past 3 days the last two or three laps I couldn't even feel my hands anymore lol
I understand that, I was tired from just 2 races a day but I’ve been sitting on my @$$ for over a month trying to heal my hip 😂

It’s my camera, that thing hardly shows a wheelie even when I’m wheeling all over the place at Road Atlanta. Guess I need to reduce some stabilization so you can see how I really ride 😁

2017 GSXR-1000R, stock motor with ECU flash, M4 exhaust, and aftermarket air filter. No engine work.
@@mctrackpack7410 good stuff! I have a 2006 gsxr 600. Stock with a power commander and akrapovic exhaust. She's small but she's strong 💪🏿
@@darrellmuchison that’s exactly what I had when I started doing track days, took me from novice to advanced group. Great, low cost track bike!!
@@mctrackpack7410 exactly! Got it in 2020 still in novice got the bump in 22 to intermediate!💪🏿 gonna keep sending it! Had an off last August and haven't been on it since. Gonna try some racing this season if all goes well with getting back in the saddle
@@darrellmuchison track time is king so keep investing in track days and tires and the speed will follow.

Also, the stabilization of the GoPro 11 in the front is so extremely good it really does not show how much bike wheelies and moves around. The old Akaso in the back is more like the real deal as far as how much the bike moves around.

Great job. Your drive out of 5 improved dramatically in lap 3 once you got the grip.
Wish I could have been there to race with you guys. My dog died so had to go back home right before the start of the endurance on Friday. See you at roebling or Atlanta in a few months.

Thanks! Hopefully we’ll get to race again next year but I’ll mostly be doing endurance racing next year. I’m sure I’ll run a sprint or two.
Congrats on the win! I have a couple of questions, as I am thinking of racing sometime next year and I am trying to figure out all of the classes. What does Senior Superbike and HW mean?

Very good and well placed lines going into the tight corners wide. By the time they were throwing theirs over, you were already leaned and tightening your radius. You'd cross the apex typically faster than most and its killer! Great riding!

Thanks man! I recently switched from a 2015 ZX10R to a 2017 GSX-R1000R so I'm on the gixxer here, first time racing it.
so that bike in front of you at the end was a backmarker or did you beat all the novices? dint you start in like 12th or so?
The one I passed on the last lap was an expert, passed a few of them during the race. Experts start up front, Novices in the back. I just didn’t want to get stuck behind the guy on the last lap and risk having the other novices I was racing pass me.
I started 16th overall from second row of novices, finished 10th overall (expert and novice), won novice class.
Manyou did dat ting, congratulations....the bike seemed to ride on rails towards the end of the race grip was no issue after that 3rd lap....awesome bro....!!

@@mctrackpack7410 Try waiting to shift until shift light comes on and compare speed. You can also adjust the shift light. Good to have if you are trying to run someone down and forget to shift.
@@ryanspillman1198 Yes, I have to check what it's set to, just didn't feel like I was gaining a lot after about 13K but I have to play some more with it and see. Definitely has a different power delivery than the ZX10.

How did the brakes go out? was it just brake fade?
I don’t know what happened to them.
He has 18 broken ribs, most were plated. Punctured lungs. It's going to be a painful recovery. Wasn't wearing his back protector either.
Well done! I started racing last summer at 56 years young. No regrets at all because I am having so much fun! That first race, for me anyway, was incredibly intimidating. Once the race had started it was pure excitement and fun! Thanks for sharing and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy
