I cried like a baby watching the final episode and the bbc farewell documentary. Fantastic ending to a brilliant tv show 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Oh god I enjoyed every second of the Xmas special finale,I'm a 55 year old man and was reduced to tears by the ending 😢 we shall all miss smithy and ness. Well done to all cast and crew for this magical program ❤❤

One of most genius moments in the show is when Smithy is enjoying the foam in a nightclub and then briefly does a second take and is taken out of his comfort zone (thus momentarily becoming gavin in that episode) when he sees a pregnant woman. So subtle but shows how smithy was torn in two but couldn't grasp as to why.

So brilliantly written and acted. Who knew Nessa had a soft side? Perfect ending ,

Could have done without the background music! Couldn't hear the dialogue

I cried at the end .i miss Margaret John aka Doris We live in Newport , my g/son here went to the panto - Dick Whittington . His fav bit was the cat who kept saying " What's o- purring " I think the joke was a bit lost on him ,hes only 9 😊

A perfect ending. I just wish we knew more about the fishing trip.

I absolutely love this program. The human connection and moments are beautiful. I've rewatched the whole series over Christmas and I can see with hindsight that Smithy and Nessa were the true love story of this show.

she was sooo good and an underrated character. At first i didnt like her, but then when Stabler was "mean" to her like "go and get a drink" she has my heart. And the last scene between Liv and Sonya was heartbreaking, but the hug between Liv and El was nice

They were always meant to be together ,knew he loved her from the minute he kissed her head when baby neil was born ,sat crying thru the whole finale on christ Mas day ,makes me otional everytime i watch it just so sad thats the end but what a way to end it ,well done to the whole cast ❤❤❤
