Drones are prohibited from launching, landing or being controlled from within designated wilderness areas. Do better, it’s a few that ruin it for the rest of us.

It's blm land so I think it was ok? It's kind of in the middle of nowhere hard to get to

Great adventure. Must go with a guide who has a global phone as you are at least 2 hours off the main road with no cell service. The ride to White Pockets is on a one lane bumpy dirt road in the middle of nowhere but it is well worth the trip!

Love your color.Well done.I fly Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic air 2 and also drive a Crosstrek Sport.I was there mid September 2020.Awesome place to drive and fly.

This was on blm land which is ok to fly drones 👍
White Pocket Az is within the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument. According to most sites this makes it restricted airspace. I was just trying to point out the possible violation here. Great pics by the way.

@@georgeisenbarg8302 Vermillion Cliffs isn't under NPS, it's under Bureau of Land Management.
@@georgeisenbarg8302 national park service has no jurisdiction over airspace and faa which has jurisdiction of airspace has NOT restricted drone flights over national parks. National parks banned flying in a sense that they do not want you taking off while on national park soil but can not control drone while its in air which is why they hold no legal power over enforcing flights. It is legal to launch outside the park and fly into park. Since everyone is breaking all sorts of rules in national parks anyways, they can shove it with drone restrictions. You know what i mean of you read between lines. I fly because i can. I fly because i am authorized by regulatory agency that actually has jurisdiction over airspace. Until that changes (we no longer have to pay for registering with faa) i will continue exercising my constitutional privilege of video and photography as determined by supreme court of usa under freedom of speech clause. For all else there is bear spray.
