Born in the American South (Tallahassee, Florida), Fiona moved to London at an early age and music became a huge part of her life. Particularly fascinated with the 80s aesthetic and epic, synth-pop sound, her influences are rooted in 80s alternative bands like The Blue Nile, New Order, and Depeche Mode as well as current alternative pop artists like The Japanese House, James Blake, and Ethel Cain. She also draws heavily on visual imagery of the past, using references like John Hughes’ 80s classics and David Lynch’s eerie, abstract series, Twin Peaks, as a creative catalyst for her debut EP, Catch 22.
